About the neighbourhood
Mount Gretna is located in southern Lebanon County Pa just North of Lancaster Co Pa. . The area is known for its PA Dutch influence. From Memorial Day to Labor Day there is a Lake for swimming and playhouse where there are several summer stock plays and numerous musical performances. The Jigger Shop is an extremely popular ice cream shop located a short walk from the cottage. There is the Lancaster Lebanon hiking and biking trail which runs from Elizabethtown to Lebanon City. There is also a hiking trail to Governor Dick which is a concrete tower. A climb to the top will offer you views of several county's on a clear day.
Or you can just relax on the porch of the cottage. Hershey park and Chocolate World are approx 12 miles from Mount Gretna.
