House was smaller than we expected, but had everything you would need. Loved the lake and the privacy. Enjoyed kayaking and floating on our rafts. Always a breeze from the lake. Great fire pit. Nice place to relax, laugh with friends and read a book.

This cottage was everything I wanted it to be. The lot is large and private with a beautiful view of the lake and your own private dock. The kayaks and floats were an extra added perk! Would love to come back again.

Nice location within a few hours from home. Amenities are plentiful. Norbert checked in our 1st day to make sure everything was ok. We kayaked every day and pretty much had the lake to ourselves.

This is a little gem. This is a beautiful lake and a very private, peaceful spot. Perfect for a getaway with family!

We love this hidden gem. 2nd year in a row we've been and we'll be back. Great place for a family trip - for us that's 2 adults, 2 kids (3 & 6), and 2 grandparents. Plenty of space, comfy amenities, big kitchen, and wood burning stove for cool evenings is all great. The property is the true gem though - spacious patio w/ rocking chairs, huge yard, firepit area w/ Adirondack chairs, big dock w/ picnic table that's great for fishing, and all the kayaks and canoes you need to enjoy the lake.

This is a beautiful location looking straight out to the lake. It was convenient to Elk Mountain for skiing. The owner was very quick to make sure the driveway was plowed and cinders put down when it snowed. He stayed in touch to make sure everything was ok. The driveway is steep for the wintertime so we were glad we rented an SUV! The top bunk bed is very high so we had to move the mattress to the floor since the 6yr old was scared to be that high and it’s too close to the ceiling for the 10 yr old. But they loved the bright little cozy room. The living & dining area is dark but we moved lamps in from the bedrooms. The tub does not have a drain that closes for baths if you are a bath lover. The kitchen is well stocked! We used the George Forman grill a lot! Buy groceries before arriving! There isn’t much available close by and especially after 6pm We would love to return here again!

So close to Elk mountain! Loved the fireplace with a decent amount of fire wood provided for us. Our dogs loved exploring the area around the cabin. Kitchen has everything you can imagine you would need to cook a meal.

Stayed in November, so could not take advantage of lake. Very nice living/dining space and perfectly functioning fireplace insert. So-called General Store (Cables) nearby is in fact an excellent Deli. A rail-trail at Cables offers a great scenic walking or biking trail. Only negative features were poor lighting in the living area (which could easily be improved with strip lights on existing beams) and the fact that the only soap provided was hand soap..

We were very impressed with our stay here in Uniondale. The cottage was very quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. The condition, the cleanliness, everything about this place would be well worth looking into if you are looking to just get away. The host we dealt with did much more than we could have expected to make our stay as pleasant as it possibly could be. I could not sat Thank You enough times to truly show how much we appreciated our stay here, and the service we received. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and I know we will be coming back soon. Thank You
