It's a hidden gem on the east side of Philadelphia it was clean access was not a problem just be prepared for the drive average time any were in Philadelphia from this location is about 30 mins the host was very nice and understanding and accommodating defently worth considering..

The house has been completely renovated with marble countertops and nice furnishings and light fixtures. It was impeccably clean. Comfy couch and beds. Kitchen had coffee, condiments, bottled water and snacks. Enjoyed our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home which looks just like the pictures showed. We were very comfortable and so pleased to be welcomed with a bottle of wine and some snacks. There was a slight problem with the door code not working but a call to Lawrence fixed that. He was quick to respond to our calls and questions and called back later to check on us which we appreciated. We sometimes had to park around the corner but I think that is true for much of Philly. We would definitely recommend this home!

Overall, nice place, thoughfully decorated and stocked with amenities.
Positives:
* Cute place and nicely decorated. Was quiet and clean.
* Plenty of nice dishware and it was stocked with salt and pepper for cooking and some junk food snacks which was thoughtful.
* The main bed was comfortable.
* Renovated bathroom with nice linens and toiletries
* Also worth noting that the neighborhood was in a rougher area of town, but the street and apartment was pretty nice.
* Owner very responsive and helpful
Cons:
* One of the three beds was a twin folding cot in a very small room (think office?) so not very comfortable.
* The floors were so creaky we were pretty much unable to move around after the baby went to bed for fear of waking him up (and he's not a light sleeper).
* Street parking was tough to come by. Since we were parking on the street, we felt we needed to bring everything including the stroller in the house which was difficult given the entry was up some steep stairs.

This is such a beautifully decorated home and in a convenient location. The grocery store is right around the corner. The home is so inviting. I enjoyed the kitchen and living room the most. While it may get a little warm upstairs, once you turn on the A/C, you should be all set. I will definitely stay here again.

Where did i start it from,it was the best place i have ever seen and stayed till now.lawrence the host is awesome.he received us with big smile and warmth.we never felt that we are in someone else home.whenever we were in need of anything he was there to help us out.i would love to stay here again.enjoyed a lot.he got everything in his property.so no worry of buying stuff like plates glasses spoons,papper towels etc.do visit this place.

I stayed here very happily for 10 days in April. This was a great place to stay--spacious, quiet, extremely well-equipped/supplied. The landlord was very helpful. The bedrooms are upstairs. There's a lovely large main bedroom with a very comfortable double bed, a smaller room with a twin bed, and a small room with a cot. Lots of light in the main bedroom. Lots of closet space, dressers, etc. Loved the gas stove, so much better than electrics. There's a really lovely old deep bathtub, and a great shower. Location was great for my needs, and fine for access to the city, historic places, etc., particularly if you have a car (and parking as never a problem). It's a decent neighborhood, with a diverse mix including quite a few African immigrants. It's not fancy-schmancy, as it's an older building in a respectable working-class neighborhood. It has character, and I was very comfortable there, slept well, worked well, enjoyed the house. Overall, extremely positive experience!

Clean and comfortable as advertised. The day bed is a little short and small. The other small bed is just a cot and may be uncomfortable for an adult. Replacing these with 2 regular twin beds would be a significant improvement.
Short 20 minute drive to most popular Philly destinations.
Lower middle class neighborhood is safe and no problem with on street parking.
