Ventry Bliss!
This self-catering holiday home is exceptional. The host Dorry is a very nice, friendly and helpful lady....full of 'info' about the various sights to see & places to go. Her house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated throughout. The kitchen is well appointed with everything that you need, bedrooms & living room the same. But the shining glory of this house is it's location. It's just a couple of hundred metres above the quite village of Ventry...and the views from this house are 'stunning'. Right out across Ventry Bay and beyond to Valentia Island and the Iveragh Peninsula and the Mcgillycuddy Reeks mountain range. Looking west one can see Mount Eagle and Cahroo hill at the tip of the Dingle peninsula. To sit outside on the deck area and look at these 'views' of the sea shimmering in the sunlight (after a days driving & sightseeing) is just the best way to unwind. We cannot recomend this house highly enough. Thanks Dorry.

Fantastic
The reviews here give a clear picture so we'll just say the house and location were fantastic and all worked out very well for us as a couple and two adult children. We hope we can return some day. Thanks very much Dorry.

The nicest place we ever stayed
We are just back from 2 weeks in this lovely house - we had the most lovely time. We were a family of 4 (kids 9 and 11) and the host was so easy to deal with prior to arrival. The house was spotless with just literally anything you could think of. We could not think of one thing we needed that was not there - it was bright and clean and the views were amazing the best ever - there is an amazing deck to sit out on watching the sea and sunset. The beach and shop are a stone's throw away and the drive to Dingle is literally 10 minutes. The host is next door and is helpful for anything you need - we would be lucky to get to return

Amazing and Best In Class
We stayed here for a week in September of last year and i can honestly say that you wont find a better place. House spotlessly clean, Location peaceful and amazing, Views stunning. Quinns bar, restaurant and shop just a short walk down the road and lovely quiet beach. Dingle a 5 minute drive away with some magnificent restaurants and bars. We wished we could have stayed longer or even forever we liked it so much. For the first night just to sit out on the decking area and relax we new we had made the right choice. Dorry and Bobby live right next door and you won't find nicer people. We had our Golden Retriever Rossi with us and even he didn't want to leave. We will be back for sure. (10 out of 10)

The perfect place for your holiday trip!
We enjoyed our stay at this place from the first to the last day. The house itself is spacious, well equipped and lovely taken care of by it's owner. Enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine in the kitchen, outside on the porch with stunning views across the seaside or the hills near Ventry or in the living room by the large TV. Whatever you're up to. It's perfectly located in Ventry: The little town itself has a great Pub and a little store for the quick shop. In the evening the only thing you hear maybe sheeps and the sea in the distance. When the skies are clear you'll find a lot of stars up there, much more than you'll see in light polluted cities. If you need a bit more action then it's only a five minute drive to Dingle. Here you'll find all you need for shopping, you can start your boot tour or just walk the city. Attractions like The Great Blasket Islands, Slea Head Drive, Ring of Kerry or Inch Beach are not far. The owners are totally lovely: Always helpful and always up for a chat if you like to, but perfectly in the background if you want to be on your own. Five stars! We'd come back anytime!

Relaxing Family Holiday
Fabulous and well presented home. Incredible views and within striking distance of everything Corca Dhuibhne/The Dingle Peninsula has to offer. We've been twice now and plan on being back again. Beach is within walking distance as is a decent pub with food. Can't recommend it enough.

Perfect holiday spot
We recently stayed at Ard an Carraige and would highly recommended it. The house is beautiful and Dorry and Bobby obviously take great pride ensuring everything is of a high standard. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived and the kitchen was stocked with essentials. The view from the house is outstanding and it’s within short walking distance to Ventry village and the gorgeous beach. We will be back!

Best place we’ve ever stayed
This holiday home is wonderful, the photos don’t do it justice at all. Immaculately clean, spacious and homely. Large windows to make the most of the most stunning view. Huge gated garden for the kids to play in. Absolutely perfect place and I would come back here every year if I could. Ventry (ceanntra) is a lovely little village with a pub, a shop and a restaurant. Gorgeous sandy beach a short walk away. Dingle town with its many tourist attractions is about 10 mins drive away. Thank you so much to the kind lady who owns this property, you gave my kids, mum and me the holiday of a lifetime and we will be back one day I promise xxx

Heavenly!
Spent a perfect week here in July 2017. The house is great, so well loved and so cosy and welcoming. I have never stayed in such a nice house and the views were so amazing. Even when the sun didn't shine it was still just so lovely sitting looking at those views. We have 4 kids and the garden was amazing for them and they loved it. Would highly recommend this house to anyone. It's perfect.

Excellent house, great location.
This house is spacious, clean and has ultra fast wifi. I was there with my 4 children ages varying from 16 - 6. Location is perfect for the beach, shop which is open everyday until 6 pm and a local pub. Great walks and the most breathtaking views. House was presented in excellent condition and had more than enough of anything you would need. The kitchen, lounge and bedrooms had all the facilities anyone would need. The host Dory is lovely and I'm not surprised this place is already filling up for next year. We definitely would recommend staying here.
