The Cottage (in the centre) is by Berry Head Country Park, area of outstanding natural beauty.
It is just above Shoalstone open-air seawater pool, and numerous rockpools - ideal for children.

The recently redecorated living room has two large sofas, TV with Freeview, DVD, Wi-fi and bookcase.
There is a sideboard with selection of books, jigsaws, Lego and games, just in case it rains!
You may even enjoy doing the dishes with the fabulous views out to sea! Electric oven with gas hob.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Fridge with icebox, toaster, microwave, and a washing machine.

Last minute cheap availability deals if less than 2 weeks till stay - a bargain! 19th August availability 25% off. Rocky shoreline and summer-opening open-air seawater pool in front of the cottage, ensure a fabulous holiday for all, whether you just want to sit on the deck and admire the views, or plan a more active holiday. This is a surprisingly spacious, centrally-heated property (now with wi-fi) with large utility area, which can be used for dogs or for storing diving gear / bicycles etc. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement but, for the benefit of other guests, are not permitted in the main body of the house.

Conveniently located close to Berry Head this cottage is also within 5/10 mins walking distance to Brixham harbour which has a good choice of pubs and restaurants (we particularly liked the Rockfish restaurant). Also a short drive to places like Totnes and Dartmouth and close...More

Getting around
Being on the level, the easiest way to see the sights of Brixham from Sealark Cottage is to walk. However the local bus stops a short distance down the road taking you direct to Brixham town centre at approx quarter to every hour, and via a slightly longer route at quarter past every hour. It does a circular route so you can just sit on the bus and tour Brixham. Stagecoach do a variety of tickets eg dayrider which covers most of the local buses. Additional buses run on the summer. In the Town Centre are buses which connect to most tourist attractions across the Bay, and further afield eg Plymouth, but most holiday makers will take the ferry to Paignton, Torquay or Dartmouth to give a more relaxed viewpoint.

Brixham is within easy reach of international links - 1 hr from either Exeter airport or Plymouth ferry to the continent. Trains from across the country generally require a change at Exeter or Newton Abbot to get to Paignton. The Dawlish route is spectacular though!There are also many bus/coach services (such as Stagecoach) across the country that come to/ via Brixham, and these are generally more frequent in the summer.Postcode is TQ5 9AH.By car from London can be either M4 / M5 but I prefer the A303 apart from peak holiday season as you have much better views such as Stonehenge.Changeover Time; for most properties is generally a Saturday between 10am and 3pm, so be aware that, especially in high season, traffic will be heavier at these times. f coming from north of Brixham, get to Exete... more
