Just a few minutes stroll will take you to Lulworth Cove and the beach. In the immediate area there are many restaurants and pubs catering for the family. There is also a local shop a few minutes walk from the cottage for basic groceries, milk, bread, papers etc.

We are also about a 10 minute drive to Monkey World and the Tank Museum (which is much more fun than it sounds!) Kayaking is available in the Cove.

I had a brilliant time in this traditional cottage, it's walking distance to the seaside and pubs and restaurants. We used the pool table a lot, and my boys all love it! We'll definitely go back there!More

What a fantastic cottage. Had everything we needed and more. Loved being so near to the cove. We spent most days there. We went coasteering which was an amazing experience. Londis was really handy for basics and fresh croissants.

We booked this cottage as it was so close to Lulworth Cove. There are B&Bs/pubs and cottages closer to the cove but this is a very convenient location which was generally lovely and quiet/restful which the others wouldn't be, and the parking is secure. Never...More

Very comfortable cottage. It has a lovely conservatory where we spent most of our time. The games room was also very popular. It has a snooker table, large television and darts.

This cottage was lovely. It has been well thought out and equipped. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be returning. The games room was great. Plenty to do nearby, we really enjoyed Monkey World (the main reason for our visit).

We only had three nights in this beautiful cottage, but loved every minute. There were six adults, loads of room , stunning location. The owners were extremely helpful and responded straight way to emails. We will definitely be back ..thank you .

John and I would like to welcome you to Tewkesbury Orchard and we hope you find it comfortable and have a lovely holiday in Lulworth Cove.
If you are new to an area it is sometimes nice to have help with local knowledge.
1. Tyneham Village – to be found on the MoD ranges. This village was evacuated during WW2 to house the army for the D-day Landings. The villagers were given 48 hours to leave and all intended to return after the war but it was not to be. The houses in the village are in ruins but the school house is in tact and has the last lesson that was taught put out on the desks and the church has very interesting information all about the people who lived at Tyneham. – the good news is it is free to visit and well worth it.
