Overview
Cottage -
3 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 6
Crail, Fife, Scotland
Terraced cottage in a row of five, nestled between Lairdsgate and May Isle Cottages along from The Nuttings and Kirkmay cottages. Five minutes' walk to the heart of historic Crail, perfect for families, couples and pet owners. Throughout the year, the view to the Firth of Forth and the May Isle continues to fascinate. In the summer, fishing boats and yachts sail up and down the Forth, whilst in the winter, from the warmth of the cottage, one can see the waves crashing onto the island. The cottage has a private garden but shares a large children's play area equipped with swings, see-saw, sand pit, play hut and a small football pitch with goals.

Spent a terrific few days with friends at this cottage. Bit of walking and some golf. The location is perfect for a walk into Crail and a short drive to the Fairmont and Kingsbarns golf clubs. The cottage is clean, tidy and well equipped. Looking...More

Kirkmay 4 is a perfectly situated cottage overlooking the Firth of Forth. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean with all the amenities, with a wonderful fenced-in garden ideal for children or just relaxing and taking in the gorgeous view. We will definitely be returning.

About the neighbourhood
A small, traditional fishing village within the East Neuk. Seemingly untouched by time, the traditions of the old East Neuk fishermen live on in this untainted part of Scotland. Situated on the Firth of Forth, originally Crail and other such villages in the area provided Scotland with vital sea ports for trade with the low countries. The village now offers a peaceful and unhurried lifestyle within a picturesque environment which has attracted artists since Victorian times, and boasts one of the most photographed harbours in Scotland. It also claims the distinction of having the 7th oldest golf club in the world.

Most of our properties in Crail are within walking distance of the village, meaning you can easily walk to the shore, coastal path and Crail beaches. Most have sea views and offer...
