Linkfield is a beautiful 1920's attached villa which was completely refurbished in 2014 with new carpets, décor, beds and bedding. The house is very spacious and provides a great base for families or groups of friends wanting to explore all that this fabulous Island has to offer. The house retains many of the original period features including fireplaces in the main bedrooms and a beautiful open fire in the lounge. The property has a fully equipped kitchen with separate utility room including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Outdoor furniture in front garden and wild play area with burn for supervised children. All linen is provided but you must bring your own towels. We have just finished a 6 night stay in Linkfield and would recommend renting this property to anyone. We were a party of 4 adult and 3 children and there was enough space for all. Kitchen is well equipped and the utility room with washing machine etc was well used on returning from our walks. Although the house is spacious...

We greatly enjoyed our holiday week in Linkfield. The house is well located for access from the Brodick Ferry Terminal and for walking around Lamlash, with beautiful views of Holy Isle. Linkfield is almost 100 years old; although it has been recently updated (we liked the wall paper) and has all modern conveniences, it was good to see that what...

Linkfield was a well equipped holiday property, which we really grew to love as our week went on. We weren't sure about the dark wood to begin with but as the week went on this was very much part of it's character and the spaciousness of the home meant you were not on top of each other all the time....

About the neighbourhood
Lamlash village sits in a sheltered bay on the east of the Island dominated by Holy Isle. The village retains plenty of character and is an ideal base for any holiday being less than 10 minutes drive from the main ferry terminal in Brodick. Linkfield is located less than 100m from the sea and a short stroll along the front brings you to several lovely craft shops including The Curtain House and also The Drift Inn, The Old Pier Café and Glenisle Hotel. The house is also well located for Lamlash Golf Club and there is a bus stop 150m away if you don't want to bring your car. Arran ferry fares have reduced substantially making the Island a truly affordable destination.
