On the Moray Firth, Tern Cottage is just 100 steps from the sea (yes, we've counted!), stunning long beaches and spectacular views & wildlife including seals and dolphins. The furnishings are top quality and the decor is elegant and artistic - all is bright, comfortable and inviting! The beds have quality linen and top-notch mattresses. On arrival, you will find goodies from the local artisan bakery, tea, freshly ground coffee and milk in the fridge. There will always be fresh flowers. Guest Accommodation: SITTING /DINING ROOM - Oak flooring, wood-burning stove, original artwork, comfortable sofa, armchair, and a dining table and chairs. There is an extensive collection of books to browse through! KITCHEN - A light, bright and very well equipped little kitchen perfect for uncomplicated cooking. With Belfast sink, 'fridge, counter-top mini oven & hob, kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer. SHOWER-ROOM - Luxury power shower and constant hot water. UPSTAIRS - Two inter-connecting rooms under the eaves. The first room is open to the stairs and has a handmade full-size single futon bed which can be made up on request. This leads through to a private bedroom with king-size bed, goose feather duvet and top quality mattress and blankets. OUTSIDE - Small, flower-filled, pebbly terrace with garden furniture...ideal for breakfast on a sunny morning! A complimentary basket of logs and kindling will be provided for the wood burning stove. Further supplies are available to buy locally. Bed-linen and towels are provided and there are electric heaters in each room. Please note: * There is no television at Tern Cottage but there is a radio and unlimited super fast WiFi . * Mobile phone reception is somewhat patchy in the village but it can often be accessed upstairs in the cottage and outside. * There is free parking throughout the village and usually spaces available very close by. * In case of potential allergies: we use goose down bedding and soft furnishings. * The traditional nature of the cottage means that upstairs the headroom is limited and the beds are under low eaves. * Tern Cottage is not suitable for babies or children under the age of 5 years. * We're sorry but there is no disabled access. * We're happy to accommodate one small, well-behaved dog. Terms apply. Please ask for details. * Ma 2 guests for short breaks. * The owner lives in The Studio next door. More
