This detached house lies beneath the hills in the village of Polbain near Achiltibuie, Ullapool with it's own garden and meadow. Every window provides stunning views of the Summer Isles, Loch Broom, Atlantic ocean and the Torridon Mountains beyond.

Di Wilding and John MacGee maintain the house and garden during the letting season and are available should you need them. Very comfortable, well-loved little house with everything you need. Stunning scenery in this unique part of the world. Four of us spent a wonderful week walking, climbing and eating the local fish.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage in a very special location. Jaw dropping scenary from every window, and absolute peace and quiet. Warm and comfy, super well equipped. We will be back!

There is a local bus which runs from Ullapool to the house door so it is possible to come by public transport by changing at Ullpool from Inverness.There are car hire companies in Inverness and Ullapool if you fly to scotland.
the last few miles are down a single track road so it is advisable to plan to arrive in daylight hours especially in the winter months.The drive is spectacular through the Inverpolly nature reserve so well worth viewing.
