Durrie Cottage (known locally as Blue Chimneys) is a cosy traditional croft house in the West Highland village of Torridon with stunning views over Upper Loch Torridon. The cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms (which can be doubles or twins), a large bathroom, shower room, kitchen/diner with open fire and a separate living room with woodburning stove. There is a large enclosed lawned garden with uninterrupted views across the loch. There is a vibrant shop/cafe, a large children's play area and a community centre with gym and art gallery all within a few minutes walk. Durrie Cottage has no TV, telephone or internet so offers the perfect opportunity to escape from city life and enjoy the remote splendour of the Scottish Highlands.

The keyholder, Sheila lives in a neighbouring property so is on hand in case of problems. Sheila is an artist working with felt and you can see her work displayed in the community centre and village shop. She may be able to supply eggs and other produce from her croft depending on availability.
