Bay View Bungalow is a luxurious holiday cottage overlooking Uig Bay on the Trotternish Peninsula. With fantastic views over the bay, towards the hills of the Trottenish Ridge and stretching all the way to the Black Cuillin Ridge on clear days, it is a holiday cottage you won't want to leave! The patio doors lead into the light and airy open plan lounge / dining room. Along with fantastic views, there is a TV with FreeSat, log burner and a cosy corner sofa. The dining area has an extendable dining table and six dining chairs, a selection of books (including local interest), a CD Player and a bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is well equipped with a double oven, hob, bread maker, belfast sink and dining table and four dining chairs. The kitchen offers views to the Trotternish Ridge and over Uig Bay. It leads through to the utility room, where there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Also accessed by the back door, it is a great place to leave muddy boots and damp jackets after a day on the hill. Double glass doors lead to the bedrooms. The master double bedroom enjoys views over Uig Bay. It has a built-in wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, and a shower ensuite. There is a second double bedroom and a third double bedroom, both having bedside tables and lamps, a hanging area for clothes and luggage racks for guests to use. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, W.C. and wash hand basin. Outside there is a picnic table offering al fresco dining with a superb backdrop! There is private parking to the side of the cottage for up to two vehicles. The amenities of Uig are just a 10 min walk away, with restaurants, cafe's and local shops. The ferry terminal takes you to the Outer Hebrides; great for a day trip or to extend your Scottish Hebridean adventure!
