Ground Floor: Kitchen & bathroom
First Floor; Medieval Hall
2nd Floor: Double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom
3rd Floor: Edwardian Crown Room Seating for up to 8 guests. May be used as 3rd bedroom to sleep 4 on sofa beds
The Manor (built 1523)

The Manor House is an impressive self catering property over 3 floors.
The ground floor has 3 vaulted rooms:
Sitting room with TV and DVD
Dining Room with seating for 10 people
Medieval Kitchen which is fully equipped with all mod cons such as microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc
On the first floor you will find the impressive Great Hall dominated by a large , medieval, fireplace complete with carved stonework and 9ft stone mantelpiece. This is an excellent space for entertaining with ample space for seating, dining and dancing.
Second floor reached via a spiral staircase.
Jacobean Room – 4 poster bed with fold out single;
Victorian Room – double bed with en suite and single bed;
Edwardian Room- double bed shared bathroom with twin;
Twin Room – shared bathroom with Edwardian bedroom
Outdoors:
Guests at Plane Castle can enjoy the magnificent gardens complete with ponds, rowing boat, ducks, sculptures and delightful planting of beech tunnels, wisteria walks and even a Hobbit House, and Wendy play-house! Neither of the properties is suitable for the less mobile tenant and the spiral stairs are steep. Young children should be supervised both on the stairs and in the garden where the water features are not fenced off.

A rurally located castle takes you a world away from modern life however we are also only 15 minutes fro the centre of Stirling and falkirk and just half an hour away from Edinburgh
