We had a lovely Christmas week staying at inverfyne cottage. The location is fantastic with plenty of walking in beautiful scenery right on the doorstop. Brewery & oyster bar an absolute bonus everyone was very friendly & welcoming. Accommodation was very comfortable & had almost everything you would need (just a couple of things which were mentioned but weren’t there was a hairdryer & DVD player, this didn’t matter to us but might to some) managed to squeeze in a trip to invererie & Oban but so much more to see in this area we’re already planning our return. We would definitely recommend this holiday cottage.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Inverfyne. Its a nice homely place, but equipped with all you need. TV and wifi were good, if you need that kind of thing. It was a real treat to have a proper peat fire. And, while it is in the middle of nowhere, you can walk to the excellent farm brewery or a world class seafood restaurant a short walk away. There's also a scenic path into the village, if you fancy a pub - it's very good with lochside seating and good food.

Inverfyne is in a great location for exploring the area by car and bike, but as we've done that before, and we were lucky to have great weather, we were happy to stay put and enjoy on foot what the locality has to offer. The dogs loved the garden and the long walks up the glen and splashing about in the river. And we also loved sampling the Fyne Ales at the brewery up the lane (several times :-). The new 3 mile path to Cairndow village is a lovely walk with the Stagecoach Inn at the end. Final word for the owner, thank you so much, we loved it.

Stunning location. Beautiful vistas all around. The place was clean and very quiet. I would recommend Inverfyne for anyone wanting to get away from the rat-race.

Fantastic, well equipped cottage in a great location. Perfect enclosed garden for the dogs with a great utility area for cleaning them up too. We had a couple of BBQs as the weather was great and the midgies weren’t too bad! Very nice, dog friendly pub about a mile away in Cairndow with good food and great outdoor seating with fantastic views. The brewery just down the lane also has a beer garden and plenty of different beers to sample! Inveraray has everything you need about 5 miles away and it’s a lovely town. The only recommendation would be that when the grass gets cut for the cuttings to be collected! After it rained we couldn’t avoid walking them everywhere! Overall a great holiday where we crammed lots in including the Highland Games in Inveraray, some big walks and a days ferry hopping around Bute and beyond. Thanks and we’ll surely be back!

A spacious place to stay. Plenty of room for 8 but just as cosy for 4. The lounge, diner has stunning views over the loch. You can easily while away your time just looking. There is a gravel footpath which makes walking to the fisheries easy where you can purchase take away fish and chips if you fancy a night off. The tap room down the road at the brewery is another added bonus if you want a coffee or to sample the local ales. The cottage is well equipped and the boot room a great drying area. This place is great if you like the outdoors. Everyone is friendly and can't do enough for you.

We had a great staf at Inverfyne cottage. Nice to have so many separate beds, a fireplace ready to go an stunning views all round. Great location for visits to surrounding areas, all of outstanding beauty. The interior of the house is fairly basic, but well equiped. The beds ands sofas are comfortable. Good value for money. Wi-Fi was a nice surprise (not advertised at time of booking)!

Myself and 7 other people (all friends, though no couples) have just got back from a week staying at Inverfyne Cottage. We all had a great week, ticking all the boxes we were after. It was hugely relaxing, sadly good enough weather that we didn't have huge need for the open fire, but the kitchen is well equipped, the brewery round the corner is a great place to have a drink, a tour and a slice of cake, and the scenery is beyond stunning. The cottage itself is fantastic value - we paid £800 for 8 of us for the week, and whilst it's by no means 'luxury' accommodation, it is very homely, very comfortable, and would definitely go back. If you want to walk, there are not a lot of options going straight from the cottage given the private land ownership, but there are still enough for 3 or 4. Inverarary is a lovely village about 10 minutes drive away with a Co-op and Londis, and the hamlet of Cairndow right on the shores of Loch Fyne is a gem, none more so than the Cairndow Inn which has good value food and great service. Highly recommend a stay here. Only reason I would not give 5 stars was an issue with water - we had no water for the last day, not sure why, so made leaving the place quite difficult. Other than that, certainly comes recommended - would need a car to have access to different areas.
