Chapel Cottage is ideally situated in the heart of the community and within easy reach of all amenities. There are excellent pubs and restaurants serving good food at reasonable prices and all within easy walking distance. The beach which is only 5 mintues walk away is set in a sweeping bay with a back drop of mountains which can be seen in the distance.

The cottage is set in the grounds of an old chapel and overlooks fields to the rear. It is very peaceful and quiet and there is an outside patio area for relaxing and barbecues. Inside there is a wealth of character with beamed ceilings and a large open fireplace for those cold winter nights. We had a lovely week in Criccieth. The cottage is perfectly situated on the high street behind the chapel. It's quiet and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We'd definitely stay again!

About the neighbourhood
Criccieth is famous for its castle which sits high up on a hill overlooking the bay and is open to visitors all your round. Chapel Cottage is just 5 minutes walk from the castle and the beach. There are a variety shops within a couple of minutes walk, including a greengrocers, butchers, bakery, fishmongers, newsagent and mini supermarket. A fish and chip shop is also located within easy reach. There are plenty of quaint tea rooms and cafes both on the sea front and in the High Street and Cadwaladers which is famous for its home made ice creams can also be found up a narrow hill a short walk from the beach. There are several pubs and restaurants all within walking distance that sell excellent food and welcome children.
Getting around
There is a train station a few minutes walk from the Cottage with services to Pllwheli, Porthmadog, Harlech, Barmouth, Aberdovey and Aberystwyth. There is also an excellent bus which runs regularly along the Welsh Coast.
