You are, for however short a time, part of a small tightly knit community. We choose properties right in the heart of these communities so all their amenities are close at hand BUT this leads to a compromise. Basically show RESPECT. NOISE. Bring the party indoors at 11 and shut the windows. I don't need to say what is thought of drunken tomfoolery. Recycling. Same as at home. Please respect the problems caused if not adhered to. LEAVE IT AS YOU WOULD WISH TO FIND IT.

We were very lucky to find a place like this for New Year this year, lovely little quaint village, central location, bags of space inside and plenty to do for all the kids in our group. When we arrived the place was spotless and there’s ample space to cook, chill and relax, parking was a bit tight but we managed to fit 5 cars at the front and one at the back, with a couple of others across at the Rugby club using the free permits which wasn’t too far away. We sampled the Ship Inn and Cavern, both nice pubs and great food at the Ship, we took the dogs for some nice walks and visited Barmouth beach which was only 20 mins away. Kids loved the big projector, games room, playing hide and seek in the (Huge) house and adults loved the big kitchen and entertainment area. All in all a great place for our big group and one we would go back too, thanks and see you next time.

Omg what can I say, it's a lovely building in a lovely village, there was 38 of us in this house this year and very impressed we was , the house has everything you need ( could have done with an extra toaster but not gonna drop a point for that ), There's so much space that everyone doesn't feel squashed in, you could float from the dining room ( were us older one's congregated in the evening and were we set up the bar lol )) to the front games cinima room were you could chill in the comfy chairs. Once you got used to remembering which staircase you was up the bedrooms were comfortable and most of them very spacious, the place was spotless when we arrived and the housekeeper Sarah was always on the end off the phone if we couldn't find something, Out in the village there everything on your doorstep from a chemist ,bank, lots of cafe's restaurant's and takeaways and a fab bakers were you could get fresh bread every morning ( dad's job when he went for his paper), a lovely bike hire shop for great bike tracks for all fitness's , I could go on and on it was such a good place, definitely recommended for large groups xx

Hey Nicola, Thank you so much for taking the time to put up our FIRST review - Hurrah! It was also lovely to actually meet you this time as we haven't crossed paths when you were at Mountain View or The Ship. As an experieced 'Huge Holiday Homer' I am expecially pleased you felt The Lombard was a fitting addition to our portfolio. Look forward to next year and your views on The Bluebell. I had better sign off and get cracking with the work on the place in Caernarfon or you will have nowhere to go in 2020! Mark
