Tyddyn Bwlch is a great property for getting away from it all. This detached stone farmhouse, which can sleep up to 9 people, is in a secluded and elevated setting in the Coed y Brenin forest and there are wonderful views - even from the slipper bath in the family bathroom! The market town of Dolgellau is just under 6 miles away for a full range of amenities and the area is a great location for biking and walking with trails, walks and waterfalls all close by. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location!
This cottage is perfect. It is newly refurbished, so everything is super clean and well decorated, and to a very high spec. It is stocked really well for a homely feel, everything you need in the kitchen for cooking for a group of people. We stayed over the May BH weekend and were very lucky with the weather - beautiful blue skies and hot! I can imagine that this place would however be just as spectacular in less dazzling weather. It is very secluded, about 2 miles away down a stoney track from any other properties or the road, with the most amazing views out over Snowdonia National Park. Really incredible, everyone was blown away. There are sheep in the field next to the property, and at the end of the field there is a spectacular river and waterfall. The house itself had a huge kitchen table with enough room for 9 people to comfortably sit round, seating in the lounge for 7 to 9 people depending on how much you squeeze up, and extra seating in the conservatory. It has 3 bedrooms, one master bedroom which is huge, with a king size bed and 2 further single beds, plus another with a double bed and a single bed in it, and the 3rd bedroom has two singles. It has one bathroom with a great stand alone bath facing the window with the amazing views, and two further bathrooms with shower cubicles in them (one downstairs). Plenty for a group. The owner is also lovely, very accommodating with regards to checking in. All in all a perfect getaway location in a very beautiful part of Wales.
