Overview
Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 4
San Francisco, Pacific Coast
LA CASITA CELESTIAL, as the name implies, is a Heavenly Place. From the moment you approach the stone-embedded welcoming mat, you’ll know that you are in for a “stellar” experience.

Its GRACIOUS CENTRAL ROOM is filled with stars – and a very comfortable sitting area, a high-definition, large-screen television with American and Canadian programming, a DVD player, wi-fi, a cozy kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, and an eclectic library with books on Mexico – its rich history and culture, its politics and tourist attractions, and, especially, its remarkable arts and crafts.

A large sliding glass door allows you to walk onto THE TERRACE WITH ITS MAGNIFICENT PALAPA, a thatched roof structure used since the time of the Mayans and Aztecs to capture sea breezes and keep COOL.

Under the Palapa is your own private, cooling plunge pool,...

Interaction with guests
When we are in San Pancho (usually staying in El Nido or Casita Celestial), we are available when needed and when invited. When we are away -- either in the States or traveling through Mexico -- we are, of course, not available in person. BUT you will have Iris, Rodrigo and Noemy to assist you with any emergencies or problems.

I’d rate this a 4.5 stars if I could. The Casa Celestial is a beautiful little cabin set into a jungle hillside. Very private. Very quiet. Nicely configured for two couples, each having their own bath. The beds were very comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Lots...More

We were delighted to have your foursome on our property last week in our Casita Celestial. So happy you enjoyed the pools for cooling off, the birds in the jungle, and the restaurants in our little town. We hope to see you again.

We stayed in the smallest of 3 residences, which is perfect for 2 couples. It’s charming, with the kitchen (with a small seating area) and 2 bedrooms/bathrooms comprising the indoors area. The living area is under the palapa, which butts to the kitchen through double...More

Bill and I are so happy you enjoyed your stay and no doubt have stronger leg muscles having gone up and down those stairs! We hope to have you on property again.

What an incredible home in the jungle. It feels like you are perched in the tops of the trees. The beautiful palapa with dipping pool is a tranquil oasis. Owners are friendly and helpful as are the caretaker. It is about a 6-7 minute drive...More

Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to have you on property. And it's always satisfying to have guests appreciate Mexican design and arts.

About the neighbourhood
The Villa is located at the north end of the beach on a quiet hillside in a tropical jungle, a bird lover's paradise. It is just a few minute walk to the ocean. There are several other houses in the 'neighborhood', but all are located behind our property and basically out of view.

San Pancho is often called the Jewel of the Rivera Nayarit. It is quiet, at least from where we are located. (The pounding of the surf is louder than noise from the pueblo.) It has three distinctive institutions:

1. A turtle sanctuary has saved thousands of turtles from poachers.,,and releases hatchlings in the winter.
2. EntreAmigos offers educational program to children.
3. La Patrona Polo Club has frequent polo matches and equestrian events.
Getting around
Slightly more than half of the people who rent do rent a car. We recommend they rent from Gecko car rental in Bucerias. If you have a car it is very easy to get around. San Pancho is a small town and you will be sufficiently familiar with everything in a day.
Slightly less than half of the people do not rent a car. They walk to the beach (just five minutes) and they walk to town (it's about twenty five minutes). If they get tired, they hire a taxi. If they prefer, they can rent a golf cart.
Again, because our pueblo is small, you will know your way around in just a few days.
If you wish to go out of town and don't have a car, you can hire a driver for the day or use a taxi.
We'll send you LOTS OF INFORMATION for 'getting around!

How to get there
Airport: Puerto Vallarta (PVR): 60.0 km
If you are coming from Canada or the States you will most likely fly into Puerto Vallarta (PVR), which is generally a fifty minute drive to San Pancho. Little more than half of our guests rent a car. The others arrange for a driver to bring them from the airport. We provide copious information with very clear recommendations for reliable services.

If you are coming from other places in Mexico, you will most likely drive to San Pancho on highway 200.

When you approach the intersection for San Pancho, our Property Manager, Iris Rodriquez, will arrange to meet you, guide you to our property and give you an introduction to our homes.
