About the neighbourhood
The rolling hills, hardwood forests, and meandering creeks are a lovely sight to see. The cottage is located on Mulberry Lavender Farm, a farm where lavender is grown for essential oil, and lavender products. The Jack Daniel Distillery is 6 miles down the road, and the cottage is located a scenic drive from Nashville in about an hour and 15 minutes, or 40 minutes from Huntsville, AL, or one hour from Chattanooga TN. Fabulous antique shopping in Fayetteville, or other nearby towns.

The history of this farm goes back to the early 1800s. Once owned by civil war hero Wiley Daniel, who happens to be the eldest brother of Jack Daniel of the whiskey distillery. The 1860s farm house is also a B&B. Ask about availability of any rooms.

How to get there
The nearest international airports are Huntsville, AL and Nashville, TN. The nearest major roads are the I64 and I65. The farm is located behind the quaint village of Mulberry, with an interesting Civil War history.

When following the directions on your GPS it is important to ignore it once you turn into Mulberry Rd off of Hwy 50. When you come to the town center, follow the signs with the lavender; from the statue in the center go right, then left on Mulberry Cut-off Rd, then right on Back Street, and then left into the driveway of Mulberry Lavender Farm. Keep going through the gate and another 800 feet - once you pass the weeping willow, you will see the cottage on your left, where you can park.
