Chose this house due to it’s proximity of Okemo. It ended up being 3 degrees with 40 mph winds on the mountain so we decided to call it a ski day very early and hang out at the house instead of getting frost bite. The house was very comfortable and clean and a great place to catch up with friends after the second coldest day I have ever attempted to ski.

Wonderful setting in the woods for a holiday weekend. Very comfortable, everything was well n good working order. Instructions were very clear, weekend was perfect even with some snow. Convenient location close to Okemo and the lakes!

This was a great place to go for a week of hiking near Ludlow. Very quiet, and living spaces were nicely appointed with views of the woods from the windows, porch and deck. A few details were annoying: As a prior reviewer mentioned, the upstairs double bed needs to be replaced (soft, and leans to the side where there's a lamp). Would also have been nice to have had a few extras like Kleenex available. And this is on us (we should have called), but the light above the sink doesn't work (couldn't tell if it was just a bulb because couldn't find any), and neither did the light below the microwave so it was hard to see to cook and wash dishes at night.

Overall a great trip. This is a very cozy cabin in the woods that provided a fabulous get away.
Pros
- we were able to bring our dog
- beautiful surrounding woods
- very close to okemo and ludlow and went into town for dinner, coffee and hiking often
- great and easy communication with the host
Cons
- beds are fairly uncomfortable

From the moment we booked, throughout our stay, all communication from the property owner was clear, accurate and very friendly. The cabin was wonderfully kept, and they provided more than what I can expect in terms of accommodations and comfort. This made our first trip to Vermont a very good and memorable one. I would definitely return.

The house was comfortable, well equipped, and a short walk to the lake, which is perfect for kayaking and swimming. Dorota was a wonderful, responsive host. We’ll definitely go back!
