About the neighbourhood
Cala d’Or is an emblematic part of the Mallorcan coastline. The village and its surrounding area is one of the prime tourist areas of Mallorca. It is situated at only a 45 minute drive from the airport and only 50 minutes away from the fabulous capital city of Palma. This south eastern corner of the island has pretty fishing ports and also a modern sports marina where luxurious boats are moored. Plenty of small coves with turquoise blue water surrounded by natural parkland, small mountain ranges with historical monasteries to visit and weekly markets in different points of the area. Railway: Manacor City: 30.0 km
Ferry: Palma Port: 65.0 km

1. Depart airport following blue signs to PLATJA DE PALMA/SANTANYI (not Palma!). Continue along the motorway (MA 19) in direction of SANTANYI.

2. After approx. 20kms the motorway ends. Take the exit marked for CAMPOS/SANTANYI.

3. Continue along this road (still MA 19) and as you reach the village of CAMPOS you join a roundabout.

4. Take the first exit signed for SANTANYI, passing Eroski supermarket on your left. Continue to follow all signs for SANTANYI.

5. When arriving in SANTANYI, just before the petrol station, you reach a roundabout. Turn left towards PORTO PETRO & CALA D’OR. This is the MA19. On the next roundabout you go straight ahead and at the end, on the T-junction you go left towards CALA
