Barn
An original barn converted into a house surrounded by beautiful garden, flowers, trees and a natural pond as well as rose garden. A gated property tucked away by a sweeping drive with the original farmhouse and oasthouse nearby. Court Lodge Barn is just a short walk into the lovely village of Westerham, home of General Wolfe and his home Quebec House which is now a National Trust Property and a delight to visit. A regular visitor to the village was Winston Churchill who lived very nearby at Chartwell House, another fabulous property and gardens to visit. There is a fabulous statue of the great man on the village green. Westerham is a fantastic community with a village green which regularly hosts village events and gatherings. Sevenoaks and Oxted railway stations are just an 8 minute drive in either direction providing direct train links into London in just 35 minutes. Both these towns also offer excellent shopping opportunities and entertainment of their own including cinema and theatre, sports centres and cricket greens which are active in the summer..

There is a large, deep natural pond at the property so probably not suitable for children under 7. All children & dogs must be supervised in the garden to ensure safety around the pond. No parties allowed at the property I'm afraid. Minimum stay 5 nights over New Years.

Excellant
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house & gardens . It was elegantly furnished & fully equipped for our stay . The gardens were lovely with countryside views & a delight for any nature lover . We visited Westerham with its lovely shops , pubs & eateries . Chartwell House is a National Trust property & was very near so we visited & took a picnic to enjoy in the vast grounds . We were welcomed by Caroline who showed us everything we needed for our stay & was on call if we needed her . Loretta had left a thoughtful hamper for us & was a very pleasant lady . We really relaxed & had a lot of happiness during our stay at Court lodge Barn & would highly recommend it to anyone .

Fabulous house and beautiful garden
Close to many interesting National Trust properties, such as Chartwell, this makes a fabulous family base, with lots and lots of room to relax. The dogs loved the garden as well, and there are excellent dog walks in nearby woodlands.

Looked after us so very well
Loretta was aware that we were coming directly from our long flight from Australia to have a family reunion. She was so very helpful and the home is just beautiful. So lovely in fact that we had a second week there later in our holiday.

Fabulous Stay.
We stayed at Court Lodge Barn with our 3 children. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Loretta had left us a lovely welcoming basket. The house was so charming and the gardens were beautiful. We all had a fabulous time. We will definitely return in the future. Westerham is a lovely village. Plenty to do . Chartwell house is a short car ride away. it is easy access to London by train. Gina winter

Relax and enjoy
This was just the perfect retreat for my guests attending a family wedding. A warm and relaxed welcome by Loretta. A fabulous place to feel at home in during our 4 night stay. We were extremely comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and watching it's feathered population around the pond and feeders. Great access to the village too - only a shortish walk - wished we hadn't been so busy with our own preparations! As a 70+yr old commented - " You can certainly feel the LOVE in this home!"
