It was nice to be so close to the trail heads! We enjoyed our stay in Bill's little cottage. It was rustic but with new amenities and quiet. Would stay there again!

This cabin was good for a friends trip to hike Old Rag and White Oak Canyon. It is rustic, but we were happy at the proximity to the park entrances. Bill, the property, owner was easy to get in touch with and very kind. I would stay again!

The cabin was everything as described. It’s perfect for a getaway from the city. It is walking distance from a great trail to hike. We grilled outside for dinner and played cornhole while waiting for the food. We sat by the fire pit at night. If you need a five star hotel, this is not for you, but if you’re looking to get out into the mountains, and have some AC, warm showers, a kitchen and even internet with a smart tv, this place is perfect.

We had a great time staying at this cottage! It was a very nice cottage with all the amenities we needed. There was plenty of space outside for our kids to play. The cottage was very close to the white oak canyon trailhead, wineries and a short drive from Skyline Drive. Great place for hiking and exploring the area!

Place was exactly as advertised. Had a great time! Within walking distance of some amazing hikes. White Oak Canyon Trail and 24 min from Old Rag Mountain Trail. Will definitely be back.

This location was the perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway to Shenandoah national park. The cottage was about a 2 minute walk from the White Oak Canyon trailhead which was very convenient. There was cornhole, a fire pit, and a big backyard which was very secluded. Since this location is very secluded and in the woods, there were a lot of bugs and some happened to find their way inside the cottage which was totally expected. Bill was very accommodating and a quick communicator. I would recommend staying here if you are interested in being one with nature and close to some fantastic hiking!!

This "tiny house" was just the ticket for my husband and me. A place to eat, sleep, shower, and watch a little TV when we weren't exploring the Shenandoah National Park and other sites of interest. Having a picnic table, firepit, and grill gave more options for enjoying the beauty of the area.

This was perfect for what we needed. Close to the hiking, which we wanted. Comfy beds. Needed nothing. It isn’t a brand new place so don’t expect luxury. It was great and I will stay there again sometime!! The owners are very responsive!!

The cabin is small and simple but equipped with everything we needed. We walked to the trailhead/Shenandoah park entrance, paid the fee and had a glorious day of hiking. Dinner at graves mountain lodge nearby on Saturday night. Exactly what we were looking for.
