The cabin is great...the kitchen and bath are a little tired and could use updating. The location is wonderful, a little dangerous exiting the drive because you can't see. The view from the cabin is breathtaking. There is no Internet and the television is only for playing DVDs. The so called library consists of Beverly Hillbilly reruns and some other equally as bad DVDs. Once you sign the rental agreement, you get a long list of rules that makes the stay uncomfortable. You are on well water, you can't go beyond the boundaries of the lot, you can't use the wood, you can't use bleach and on and on. In addition, you have to pay the booking fees which are substantial, if you cancel. Thankfully, we were visiting family so simply used it as a place to sleep but could have stayed in town a lot cheaper and closer. We were hoping to entertain them but that is against the rules also. I doubt we will use Vacasa again. We've used VRBO and have not felt overcharged or over regulated.
