As you drive around Maui be mindful of other drivers (pull over for locals along the Hana Hwy) and pedestrians. Honking is inconsiderate on Maui with the exception of the Road to Hana as locals will honk to thank you for letting them pass. Please use a lower gear when coming down from Haleakala and pull over a few times to let the brakes cool down. Lastly these are not 4x4 vehicles so common sense applies and if you get stuck or get a flat these will be paid for by the guest.
