Seventh Heaven

Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 6
Moab, Utah
This Coyote Run house is one of just sixteen detached homes in the most exclusive high end development around Moab's golf course, along the south side of the 9th fairway. There is no better place to return home to than our peaceful, secluded refuge, where you can kick back and enjoy a soak in the privacy of your very own hot tub. Our location is one of the very best, and is becoming increasingly more so because of all the new development happening everywhere else.

Our 'Seventh Heaven' is a spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath, detached ranch style home, with a loft area the size of a third bedroom. It is luxuriously furnished and well appointed with all the modern conveniences. There is a spacious two car garage, and a bit of a driveway, but no curbside parking in our quiet little cul de sac. (However, there is room...

Interaction with guests
I have explored this region since graduating college in 1976. I was drawn to this place, as were so very many other like minded individuals, and moved to Moab with my Lisa in 1997, where we have come to love this community and cherish the diversity and generations of others who have settled these lands for hundreds and thousands of years. We lived in our first Castillo townhouse (on the other side of the golf course) for ten years, during the last six of which we were building our own pueblo style home (by ourselves) a mile away as the crow flies. We manage the rental of our own and six other Castillo townhouses belonging to our friends and neighbors, a Solano 2BR townhouse in the project next door, and two Coyote Run houses.

The house was great. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. It is in a quiet area just south of Moab. The owners were easy to communicate with and provided a lot of information about the Moab area.

We have taken advantage of vacation rentals all across the country and this was the best by far. Guest comfort is obviously the priority down to the littlest of details. The quality of the furnishings was above standard. I would highly recommend this rental. It...More

About the neighbourhood
Located in the heart of red rock canyon country, Moab is minutes from Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, the world famous Slickrock Bike Trail, river rafting and cool mountains. From the echoes of ancient cultures to evidence from the age of Dinosaurs, and amidst the Pinyon/Juniper forests of the Colorado Plateau that denote a unique natural interface of alpine and desert fauna and flora, the area abounds in treasures for the discoverer in each of us. With thousands of miles of jeep trails providing access to the most extensive catalogue of public lands in the lower forty-nine States, explore a world carved from the drainage of the last Rocky Mountain uplift from the western slope of the Rockies to the Grand Canyon.
Getting around
The most prominent feature is the Moab Rim to the west that frames that side of the valley going south. The east side of the valley stacks up over redrock and layers rising up to a collection of 12,000 ft. peaks of the La Sal Mountains. Whether you stay in town or south into the valley, you will still be using a car to get around and to explore Moab's environs, because while there are innumerable canyons and mesas and mountains, National parks and Monuments, State Parks, BLM lands, National Forests, Colorado and Green River gorge, etc in every direction and nearby, the scale of it all is such that you need to do a little driving to get to trailheads and interact with the surround.

How to get there
We are 4 miles south of town on the EAST side of the valley, away from the hubbub in town, and in an area that is markedly different from everything near the noisy, commercial, highway corridor on the WEST side of the valley. You can take the dog for a walk on our country lane, or walk through the gate on our back patio and skirt the edge of the golf course to walk up into the red rock wilderness above us. The more adventurous can scramble on into the rimrock and access 'Johnson's Up On Top' mesa. Access to Steel Bender Trail and Mill Creek Canyon are just up the road through the neighborhood on the other side of the golf course,.. so our little part of the valley is as close as you can get to the magic you come here for, and one of the only places you can simply walk into it... more
