We were attracted to this property b/o the mountain views and porch for viewing and relaxing. It did not disappoint. The property was as advertised- clean, well located, spacious enough, well-appointed kitchen, wifi and tv. The owner lives in the house next door and introduced himself and gave us some restaurant advice and was available in case we needed anything but was not at all intrusive. We were no more than 10-15 min away from anywhere in Asheville and yet we were in the mountains. The extra half bath was a big plus. Several caveats: It is over a garage so there is a bank of uncovered 15-20 steps to get to the apt- which could be a problem for folks with mobility issues and moving in, especially in the rain- the steps do have treads. The bed is a four-poster queen and raised- It is the highest bed we have ever seen in all of our world travel- The owners do provide a step stool. I noted it in the pictures and brought one of our grandkids' stools just in case. We did need it and we are average sized people. There is cable TV but used the samsung tv app and other streaming apps. Never quite found the major tv networks except as seen on their streaming apps- Just as well- we watched less tv. One quibble- the water pressure in the shower was adequate but not robust. None of these are deal breakers. Really enjoyed the stay.

Cabin a garage apartment next to the owners house. First impression was how small how small the cabin is. Living room and kitchen comprise half of the cabin. Bedroom en-suite and guest bath (with access door) the remainder. Only access to cabin is via outdoor uncovered stairway (obvious by pictures). It is almost perfect for one or two guests. Owners reside on property. Both were very approachable and pleasant. They even offered us access to two separate balconies or terraces accessible from there house with additional views of the valley different than ours. No washer or dryer on property. Bring your one can opener. We had booked a two week lease but had to leave morning of the 8th day because of illness.

We definitely will refer and be back…..enjoyed the space and accessibility to everything in Asheville.

Rental was new, clean, with beautiful view. There were private stairs and I never personally met owners but my husband did once and said they were very pleasant and helpful. I did not realize that this was a small apartment over a garage and I'm glad I didnt because had I known I probably wouldnt have booked it and would have totally missed out. Excellent location, close to everything, convenient to interstate, absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Apartment is small so would not recommend for more than a couple. Would stay here again!

Amazing views from the deck of this immaculate vacation rental! Just minutes from all there is to do and see in downtown Asheville. The rental process was simple and smooth from beginning to end. We will definitely be back!

This was an absolute gem!! With gorgeous views of the mountains!! Very clean and comfortable and we will definitely be staying again! There’s also a half bath that was so nice to have in case the other bathroom was being used. Full kitchen and the porch over looking the mountains was so nice!! Only a few minutes from down town, very convenient!! Loved everything about it!!

This was such a cute place for us to stay. Perfect weekend getaway. Views are great and very relaxing. Would recommend this to everyone.
