Rose's place is a reasonably priced oasis in Manhattan's increasingly expensive vacation rental market. You'd have to look way uptown or maybe Queens to find a similar value. If you want to be close to the action and don't mind some urban grit in your neighborhood (which is impossible to completely avoid in NYC) then look no further. I walked the block and a half home from MSG after a Rangers playoff game in less than 5 minutes. This is a spacious two bedroom where my wife and I were able to do online yoga together and isolate from covid separately. The room air conditioners keep the place comfortable and there is plenty of seating. We were not expecting the trees right outside our window and visits from the neighborhood squirrels (no rats to be found!). It was lovely to have a full kitchen although counter space is limited. Be mindful of the steep stairs down to the laundry and don't bump your head if you are tall like me and taking out the trash (bins with black bags) or recyclables (bins with clear bags). Good natural light despite the neighboring buildings and decent light indoors despite some fixtures not working. The building is over a hundred years old but we saw maintenance folks giving it love throughout our stay to keep it in shape. We felt very much at home in our two months at Rosa's place. She was responsive and pleasant and we appreciated her hospitality. If you are ready to dive more deeply into New York then this is a comfortable way to do it without breaking the bank.

Rose is a wonderful property manager! She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and the check-in/out process was convenient. I stayed at this property for an extended time and friends were shocked by how convenient and spatious this apartment is!

I enjoyed my stay here with the location, space, and price. The host was top notch and even found a way to get me quarters during the "shortage" since no bank would give me them for laundry. The only complaint I have is on the cleaning... the couch had stuff in it, the fridge should have all past guest items removed as I feel thats a liability, and the floors could use better cleaning especially under things. However, I would stay again if those items are addressed just on the host hospitality alone.

Our stay could not have been better. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The best part is it’s location. It is literally in the middle of Manhattan and a quick subway ride to just about anywhere you would want to go. Rose was helpful and responsive to all are questions both before and during our stay. We definitely recommend her apartment and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rose was extremely accommodating, helping us with any small thing we needed. The unit itself was large with 2 true full bedrooms (surprising for ny), and very centrally located. Being right by penn station can be a little bit of a headache with all the chaos, but it's worth it for the ease of access to subway lines. Definitely would stay here again!

Very accurate listing! Solid, safeneighborhood conveniently located to Penn station, ideal for those flying into Newark. Simple but comfortable accommodations. Rose was excellent and very prompt when contacted. Would recommend, especially for longer term stays.

Basic, adequate 2-bedroom. Convenient location, but old building where laundry and trash means navigating labyrinth of steps and outdoor passageways. Amenities in apt are basic, can’t cook from scratch, all electric appliances and not all working. Furniture is minimal and basic as well.

Rose was so sweet and flexible. Apartment was bigger than we expected. Beds super comfortable . Great location!
