About the neighbourhood
The Village of the Arts is an eclectic mix of people and things to do. If you are looking for a white bread and mayonnaise neighborhood, don't come here. This is an urban neighborhood that is still in transition. This neighborhood has come from blighted to where it is now in 15 years. It's kitschy with character. If you don't know about the Village of the Arts, check the website. We are home to some great restaurants, bakeries, galleries and shops. Village events are scheduled at least monthly during off season and more often during the season. Nearby, we have 2 microbreweries, a baseball stadium, and the Riverwalk. Oh, and the beaches are a short drive, too.
Getting around
The Village of the Arts is a walkable neighborhood. It is also within a mile of downtown Bradenton, the Riverwalk and LECOM stadium. Uber is available as well as the local bus service MCAT. There is a free shuttle that connects all the beaches once you are there.
