Not a terrible cabin but not what expected for the price. Almost smoked out of the place when tried to use the oven. Outdoor grill was disappointing. Close to things to do like hiking and did like the hot tub. Probably would not recommend but hey you win some you lose some.

Short little ride to ohiopyle state park, great architectural sites, and historic battlegrounds. Clean and safe. There are neighbors, but not close enough that you can be annoyed. Pet friendly! The shower alone is worth the stay! We didn’t realize it was an outdoor stone hearth until we got there and it was amazing. Overall charming and worth the trip!!! I’ve already recommended this cabin to numerous other couples!!!

This place was beautiful and very comfortable. This was a trip that my fiancé and I will never forget. I actually proposed at this location and it was one of the greatest vacations of our lives. The cabin is amazing and the area is phenomenal with breath-taking views and awesome trails to enjoy with your family or loved ones. We highly recommend visiting the Laurel Caverns, we did a self guided tour that was so awesome that we would go many times in a heartbeat. Also, we went out to eat in Uniontown to a place called Fiesta Azteca. The food and service was phenomenal. We highly recommend visiting the restaurant during your stay. There are some cons about the cabin listed below, but I want to make clear that this was one of the best weekends of my life and this cabin was a big part of it. Cons: Firewood not included for fire pit Charcoal grill was sketchy to use Hot tub did not come with instructions, nor with any cleaning agents for the hot tub.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed having a relaxing couple days at Buzzards Cabin. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed the fire pit. My 2 complaints are: the bed. The guest book has had complaints about the bed for some time now. It was absolutely horrible and needs replaced! The other was the area where the picnic table is... if there were gravel or grass there it wouldn’t be a muddy mess. I will not be returning to this cabin but I will check out and try others at OVR. We enjoyed hiking at Ohiopyle and the location was excellent.

With a property described as rustic, I expected eneven flooring, cobwebs and the occasional bug. What I didn't expect was the odor of dead mouse in the bedroom and lots of dark hair in the bedding. I attempted to find the mouse but was unable and decided to cover up with air freshner as good as possible knowing one was present. As I'm checking out, I noticed something under the night stand and expected to find a sock, instead I found a mouse dead and bloated in the trap. Mystery solved, such a beautiful area, we will be back but will steer clear of Ohiopyle Vacation Rentals.

We had a great time food from local restaurants was very good and larger portioned. The house was nice and clean. There was and issue with contacting the rental property company due to a mouse being in the broiler area of stove. Our Rottweiler was very on edge due to smelling it and knowing it was there nobody could relax. It’s now two days later and still no call back
