Truly enjoyed staying in this property. It is clean and charming with a classic balcony. The AC was great, even in the July heat. We found the kitchen had just what we needed. The bed was so comfy! The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and provides easy access to trolley and bus routes. There are some great food and drink options steps away. We liked being able to take a quick (and cheap) Uber or bus ride to the French Quarter and other Nola spots. Plus, our host Calvin was a pleasure to work with; quick to respond and very accommodating! We would stay here again in a heart beat.

My partner and I had a great time staying here. It was everything we hoped for, perfect for two people working remotely (two separate rooms for parallel meetings, no issues with the WiFi), and in a great location close to shops/restaurants, but felt homier and quieter than staying near Bourbon Street. Would highly recommend for two people!

We had a wonderful time in Calvin's apartment, the space is really great and very well furnished and decorated. I hope to come back one day even for a longer stay!

This apartment is located in a prime spot - walk to shopping, eating, and bars. The area appeared to be quite safe and clean too. We had a car, which we were able to park off street behind the building - super convenient. But you could walk to many sites and to the trolley. The charm of this place lies in the amazing balcony (note it is shared with a couple of other apartments, but we never saw anyone during our times out there). The tall ceilings and antique flooring are really awesome too. Furnishings are not luxurious - much more shabby chic but it all works both design wise and functionality wise. It's well equipped in the kitchen and we loved having plenty of outlets for plugging in chargers, laptops, etc. Bathroom sink made me feel like it was at the dentist office, but I guess it's artsy! Good water pressure, comfortable bed, nice bed linens, and appropriate toiletries made for a very pleasant stay. Host is good with communication. Notes- There is a tall stairway to unit. If you need it completely dark when you sleep - bring your eye mask, there is a ton of light all night in this unit. There is street noise, but you are in Nola - with a balcony - in an attractive active neighborhood - of course there will be some traffic and people noise!

Beautiful, spacious 2nd floor apartment right off Magazine Street. High ceilings, balcony - everything you’d want in a NOLA rental. Its even better in person than the pictures. We stayed for the first Jazzfest weekend and really appreciated being able to return at the end of the day to a chill neighborhood. The space was super clean, well-appointed. Calvin was a great host. All in all, a near perfect experience.

If you ever wanted an authentic place to stay in an apartment with 12 foot ceilings and a fantastic second story balcony overlooking the iconic Magazine Street, this is your place. Our host was most gracious and informative. The Lower Garden District where this property is located is quintessential to old world architecture and style with a little modern flair sprinkled on top. It has many close by eateries (Down the Hatch for wings and Urban Ramen for everything they have), and is just far enough from The French quarter to be a little more peaceful at night.

Close to the quarter. Walkable to many locations. Great space. Outstanding nearby restaurants. It was just perfect. Will definitely grab this place again when I come back.

This one-bedroom unit had everything we could ask for: high ceilings with a large wall of windows leading to a wide terrace, 2 desks on opposite sides of the living area, the best sleigh bed-turned-lounging sofa from which to watch TV, and terrific lighting (nothing can be more depressing than staying at a dimly lit space), and even speakers built into the ceilings. We ate out most of the time (you can't run out of great places to eat in the neighborhood or the city), so while the kitchen didn't have a full stove, it was still more than enough to serve our needs during our 1.5-week stay. The property is right off of Magazine Street within quick walking distance to all of the streets great restaurants and retail. The location is also convenient for pick-ups and drop-offs by Lyft or Uber or just for walking around the neighborhood. And the icing on the cake was our host, Calvin, who was always available to help you out with information or questions, while not being intrusive. We've visited New Orleans multiple times, and this property definitely ranks among my most favorite for mix of layout, price, and location.

Property is amazing, close to anything you need in Uptown! We literally had all the amenities within our fingertips. Calvin, our host was amazing- quick to respond to any of my random questions throughout our stay. Highly recommend and I will definitely be seeing Calvin and his property again soon!
