7 'Residenz Zwieselstein' is a delightful, bright, south facing luxury first floor apartment in a great location, situated in one of the best known Ski regions in the Tirol, but also a beautiful area for Walkers and Hikers in both Summer and Winter.

The complex is situated in the alpine village of Zwieselstein (1.472 m), in the Ötztal Valley, arguably the prettiest in the Tirol.

The raw beauty and picture postcard surroundings complement the luxury of the apartment and facilities available in the region. An enjoyable and invigorating holiday is assured.

Location was good for us as it was close enough to drive to Solden for shopping but away from crowds. The were a few restaurants within walking distance. Any higher up the mountain and we would have needed snow chains. However the free and regular bus service for guests of the area was great. Make sure you know which stop...

Apartment was very good, clean and spacious ,although I would have preferred a slightly bigger kitchen it was fine for what we needed. Location was great for visiting the alps and although no shops in the village there were plenty in Solden less than 5 mins drive away. TV also had some English channels.

Spent almost 2 weeks in this well equipped, bright, modern apartment for skiing and exploring. We skied Obergurgl/Hochgurgl, which were both fantastic in terms of snow and infrastructure and no lift lines! Did not even ski Solden as all reports were of "crazy busy"!. The free ski bus was fantastic and only a short walk away from the door. There...

There are many lovely villages to visit locally, 'The Aquadome' is situated in the village of Längenfeld (15km down the Valley from the Apartment) and has a long tradition as a spa resort. Lagenfeld was first mentioned in the 16th century and has been transformed into Austria’s most modern and attractive wellness thermal spa, including indoor & outdoor thermal pools, underwater music & lighting, whirlpools, saunas, fitness studios, and separate children’s water world.
The 'Stubai' waterfall just down the valley in Umhousen is the largest in Tirol, with 5 viewing plarforms.
There are lovely lakes in the Valley, the most popular swimming lake is in Oetz and can reach temperatures of 25 degrees c. in Summer. Area 47 opened in May 2010, and has Water slides and shutes,...

The bus stop is only some 200 meters from the apartment, with a regular service to Solden, Obergurgl and down to the bottom of the Otztal valley.
