All important attractions in south Iceland are fast and easy to access from Skarð which is 35 km from Selfoss, and 10 km from Flúðir. We have open hi speed wi fi internet in the house and a tv with 50 foreign channels. Also we have well chosen stack of books in the rooms. Skarð is easy to find. We are by road 30, Skeiða-og Hrunamannavegur, and the one way bridge over Stóra Laxá river is the best landmark where to turn, but one turns up the drive way before entering the bridge, which you do not cross if coming from Selfoss.
