Holiday Rental House
Situated in one of the most authentic and colourful streets of the historic centre of Bosa, this three-storey stone house was in ancient times an antique mill and a gathering spot for the villagers of the medieval quarter called “Sa Costa”. The house has been recently renovated preserving the original architectural features and charm, while also incorporating all the comforts of modern living. We offer one of the largest and most panoramic terraces in Sa Costa, where you can enjoy views over the picturesque rooftops of the historical centre and follow the course of the charming Temo River as flows to the sea. The stylish furnishings, artistic touches and attention to detail and comfort in any corner of the house convey a warm welcome and a sense of home, rather than a vacation rental. Ideal for a group of friends or families who want to spend a memorable, relaxing holiday together, with just the right combination of common gathering areas and as well as private space. The house is on three levels, connected by a welcoming and airy staircase. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom: the BLU bedroom is composed of a large bedroom, a full bathroom and a cozy sitting room with sofa for reading or relaxing. The LILLA bedroom is perhaps the most romantic and chic with rustic original stone walls, vaulted ceiling and original washbasin in the fully-equipped bathroom. On the second floor are two more bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The PIETRA (stone) room might be considered the most beautiful room of the house thanks to the wonderful exposed original stonework, a four-poster bed, a romantic balcony and a unique alcove sitting room. The second bedroom has a double bed, suitable for two children or a single. All bedrooms are equipped with high quality mattresses, bed and bathroom linens. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and television. On the top floor, a large and fully-equipped country kitchen offers lots of space for cooking as well as dining. Well-ventilated and tastefully decorated, the kitchen adjoins an adjacent sitting-room/library, with a view over the valley and river. The library's comfy sofa is an ideal spot to explore the well-stocked bookcase, which includes books in various languages and maps and guides for exploring Sardegna. Finally, a few steps from the library is the wonderful rooftop terrazzo (terrace), a place to sip your morning cappuccino and breathe in the panoramic view, stretch out and soak in the afternoon sun or enjoy dinner by candlelight under the stars. Tastefully furnished, with a large wooden table and chairs, umbrella and wicker lounges, the terrazzo also has a delectable selection of fresh herbs (in season) ready to be snipped and added to your sauce, salads or tea!More

About the neighbourhood
If you refer to Bosa as a 'village' to a local resident, you will be corrected - Bosa is a city, because, historically, it was a strategic location in Sardegna, with a mysterious and fascinating story. The centrepiece of Bosa is the ancient quarter called Sa Costa, where the original stone houses nestle side by side along narrow cobblestone streets, cascading below the Malaspina Castle that sits majestically above on the hill's crest, originally positioned to be able to spot approaching pirates. Our home is one of these original stone buildings, each painted a different colour, creating a charming patchwork effect when viewed from a distance. A short walk through the picturesque streets takes you to Bosa's centre, where you will find restaurants, bars, internet point, services, shops and...
