Apartment is close to all amenities and entertainment required such as groceries, bars, restaurants and bus stops. Swimming is just across the road and along all Qawra rocky Coast in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.
Qawra is a seaside resort located on the North part of Malta, very close to Bugibba, and St. Paul’s Bay. The town was built with the purpose of attracting British tourists, and in fact, it is constellated of hotels, holiday apartments, restaurants, cafes shops, bars, casinos, and many other tourist facilities. Water sports dominate the shoreline, and although there are no sandy beaches, swimming, sunbathing and diving are still very popular activities.
There is a long promenade that stretches for around 3km all the way to St. Paul’s Bay. This walkway outlines the rocky shoreline, and provides fantastic views of the open sea. It offers a perfect space for leisurely walks and jogs, especially during the evenings, where the sunset colours the sky with spectacular hues.
There were some Neolithic remains found in Qawra, which are now incorporated in the landscaped grounds of the Dolmen hotel.
Qawra is also the site of one of the many towers built by the Knights in 1637. Standing on Qawra point, this small watch tower watches St. Paul’s Bay to the West and Salina Bay to the east. The tower is now used as a restaurant, however additions to the building took away its authenticity.

We chose this apartment considering the great reviews and because of it is convenient for families. The apartment is well-equipped, stylish, clean and good maintained.
The owners are friendly and hospitable. A lovely care basket waiting for us in the kitchen made us feel welcomed.
The area has many restaurants and safe to walk around. The small supermarkets just outside the main entrance were very convenient. We rent a car and Laurence оffered a garage in case it will be a problem to park on the street.
We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Delightful apartment and the perfect hosts
We arrived in Malta to glorious sunshine in February and were picked up from the airport by Mariella as arranged in advance. What a fabulous start to our mini break, to be picked up from the airport doors by our host and driven straight to our apartment by such a lovely lady. The apartment was just as nice as the photos and felt very luxurious. Everything about the place is perfect, from the beautiful lighting and comfortable furnishings to the very adequate kitchen pots pans and utensils. And now for the downside ……… Not Mariella's fault, obviously, but the weather was horrible for the couple of days that we were there. Mariella had provided us with a gorgeous thick fluffy throw for the bed and we were toasty warm at night. Getting up in the morning though was hard as the apartment felt cold and we could not find a heater anywhere. We should have phoned and asked because I am sure that a heater would have been brought round immediately if we had done so but it would have been so nice to have had a heater there. The other thing is that we didn't know how to switch the TV on! But these things really paled into insignificance given all the other positives in the apartment. The view, the high end furnishings, the location, the shop almost next door, the excellent value for money and the generous lifts back and forth to the airport by our wonderful host. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Thanks for leaving such a wonderful comment describing very well your stay with us. We are really glad that you appreciate our services and effort to make your holiday, the one to remember.
With regatds to the weather, we absolutely cannot do nothing about it but with regards to heating, all apartment could have been heated with the 3 AC units there are onstalled in the bedrooms and in the kitchen living area. Heaters in rental apartments are not safe for me as one could easily distract and leave them on.
If you phoned us, I would jave explained this to you. But anyway, i am sure that the fluffy throw did all the good work instead of the heater.

Superb Apartment
We have just returned fro a 10 night stay in Laurence and Mariella’s superb apartment. The apartment is tastefully decorated and well equipped. Laurence and Mariella are excellent hosts and even gave us access to their garage which made parking so much easier. We are frequent visitors to Malta and would not hesitate to return to this apartment in the future.

Great holiday apartment!
We stayed here for a 4 night break and had a wonderful time. Great communication with the owners Laurence and Mariella. We were picked up from the airport and were able to have a late check out free of charge.
The apartment has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Very good value for money. Lovely to return to after a busy day sightseeing. There are shops beside the apartment for groceries and lots of nice restaurants in the area. We would most certainly stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Everything you need in a great location
My wife and I stayed at this apartment in September. The owners Laurence and Mariella could not have tried harder to help us enjoy our stay in Malta , from the moment we arrived to the day that we left.
The apartment is in a very good location if you wish to travel around the island by bus, although a trip to the very south of the island may be a bit too much to do in a day. The bus stop is a short walk away and the buses were always on time. Mariella recommended purchasing the Explorer card which gives unlimited travel for 7 days.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, very modern, and has everything that you need should you wish to self cater, however we spent most nights out visiting the local restaurants. Laurence helped us with the booking of a visit to the Tarragon restaurant which we cannot recommend highly enough, if you want a high end meal.
September is an extremely humid month in Malta but the apartment has fans and air conditioning.
The supermarket is 2 minutes walk from the apartment and is well stocked and even has a good choice of gluten free foods.
Being located in Qawra means the area is a lot quieter than Bugibba but it is a very pleasant walk along the bay and if you are feeling energetic you can head on to St Pauls.
We would definitely stay at this apartment again and would highly recommend Laurence and Mariella as ideal hosts.

Lovely clean modern apartment with everything provided for a great holiday
Apartment close to supermarkets and excellent restaurants.Main bus station 12 min walk away with excellent connections to all the island's attractions. Very close to rocky swimming areas.Being picked up and returned to airport by the friendly owners, Laurence and Mariella was very much appreciated.

Fantastic apartment but can be noisy
Before I start: This is the most difficult review I have ever written.
Lawrence and Mariella's apartment is absolutely stunning, super clean and fully equipped. The attention to detail is first class - you will not need anything.
Lawrence is a great host and on arrival he met me and my wife so he could explain all we needed to know. This included going to the private underground garage just around the corner where we parked our car.
Entry to the apartments should have been via a coded keypad but this did not work as the security door would not close properly. Also there was another door across the terrace area that should have been locked but was constantly left open - this needed a spring closer fitted. With both security doors not working there was a risk of unwanted guests.
Everything was just perfect for the first night but then things went wrong.
There are apartments opposite where the balconies face each other and about ten metres away. It appears the owner (or person who hires them) will let multiple groups of Italian boys or girls and even overcrowding the apartments. This ended up being non stop parties with loud music day and night with boys shouting off the balconies to their mates in apartments above and below.
A group of girls then arrived in another room which caused the boys testoserone levels to go through the roof.
I contacted Lawrence about this and he did all he could to sort this out. It did get slightly quieter but then my wife endured intimidation from the boys who told her to f' off and started spitting across the balcony. Not a lot I could do about it with so many boys in a gang. In the end my wife would not go down to the grocery shop on her own as she was too scared. There are two supermarkets and an Iceland store about a thirty second walk from the apartment entrance.
In the end we were unable to sit on the balcony looking over the harbour as the noise and atmosphere was unbearable and resorted to sitting on the balcony from the bedroom with no views at all.
The only plus side for us was that when you was in the bedroom to go to sleep all the noise was gone and we slept really good. In the mornings we could use the harbour view balcony as the groups were still asleep from the previous night party.
So this is my review. Like I said at the start the apartment is absolutely stunning but be careful of the months (we were there end of July) you book to stay as you might get large groups of boys or girls staying in overcrowded apartments spoiling your holiday.

Thanks for your positive comment about the apartment. This is the 4th year I am renting this apartment and not only on this platform but also on others like Homeaway and Airbnb. You can see all year round reviews and you wont find any such accident. I discussed this matter personally with the owner and explained to him what was happening. That evening I also called the police (upon what you told me on the phone) and they came over. We also discussed this issue last week in a commitee meeting. Doors are constantly in use and damage can happen as in fact you said. But at any moment the apartments were not safe. We wanted to meet with you upon departure but you left before we arrive, dont know why!
You can go to the best apartments around the world and you will always find someone who you don't like in your neighbourhood. Next time I suggest you stay in a hotel in July and I guess it won't be noisy at all! :)

Beautiful Clean and Modern Apartment
We just returned from our stay in this beautiful apartment Laurence and Mariella were great hosts from booking the apartment to collecting us and dropping us back to the airport, leaving us a beautiful basket of goods which came in handy after being on a plane so long, great location with two convenient stores underneath,restaurants close by (walking distance), garage came in handy when car spots were not available also, phone calls to check that everything was ok was also greatly appreciated, very clean and modern apartment with lovely furnishings we will definitely stay here again and recommend this place thank you again for your beautiful place.

Beautifull place
I have been there with my Family incl.2 kids.
Flat is very modern furnished and very clean.There us everything You need.Nice balcony where youcan enjoy breakfast,bert,wine...Location andvuew from balcony very nice (just few steps from bus station and 10min walk to main bus terminal.Just outsude 2 supermarks.Lawrence is very nice and helpful.Thanks Lawrence.Comming back to Malta I would stay there again.

The apartment is in a very quite and peaceful area of Qawra.
100mtrs away from a wonderful promenade along the coast that takes you all the way to St Paul's Bay.
Grocery, green grocery, bus stop and a restaurant are just outside the building.
Bars, restaurants, tourist information centres, dive centres, car hire, pharmacy, etc are only a few metres away. Day tours and boat trips can be easily booked from offices along the promenade.
Swimming is just across the road on the wonderful Qawra rocky coast in the blue Mediterranean sea.
Getting around
Public transport bus stop is available just outside the apartment.
Main bus station is just 8 minutes away from apartment.
Parking is available along the road without restrictions.
