Villa Alison is on two levels, with external, separate access to the lower level. All bedrooms have either shower or bathroom en suite and the family areas are very spacious. A feature of the villa is the outside kitchen with BBQ, griddle, pizza oven and hob, great for summer get togethers. It is situated in a private location at the end of a cul de sac and is close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The main entrance to the upper level is through the front door to a small lobby and then in to the large lounge. This features beautiful old wooden beams, a huge stone fireplace and handmade terracotta floors. Double doors go through to a small 'snug' off which are the two bedrooms with airconditioning. The main entrance to the upper level is through the front door to a small lobby and then in to the large lounge. This features beautiful old wooden beams, a huge stone fireplace and handmade terracotta floors. Double doors go through to a small 'snug' off which are the two bedrooms with airconditioning. One with full bathroom en suite and one with shower room en suite. Off the other side of the lounge double doors go out to a glazed sun room. This is comfortably furnished, and also serves as the dining room. Doors lead out from this sun room to the huge open terrace surrounding the pool. There is a distant sea view from this terrace. There is a well equipped kitchen off the lounge, and also a separate cloakroom near the front door (easily accessed from the pool terrace). Entrance to the downstairs accommodation is through beautiful old doors to the lounge. This features fabulous old beams rescued from a castle in Castile. The terracota tiles on the floors are interspersed with lovely hand painted 'tacos'. An arch goes through to the large kitchen. This simply has to be seen to be appreciated! The walls are tiled with wonderful hand painted tiles, an exact copy of an 18th century kitchen (the original is in a museum in Madrid). This large kitchen is very well equipped, including an indoor barbecue, and a large table for family meals. The three bedrooms downstairs all have en suite bathroom (or shower room), and are furnished with antique beds (with modern bases and mattresses!). All the doors and beams in this lower area are antique, and have been rescued from demolition sites throughout Spain. The furnishings are also largely Spanish antiques. Outside the gardens are beautifully tended, featuring lawns and numerous flowers, shrubs and palms. The big swimming pool has a large open terrace, with views towards Cabo San Antonio and glimpses of Jávea bay. The barbecue area is a delight, with a traditional barbecue and an unusual wood burning oven. This is all under an attractive pergola covered with creepers. This is all conveniently close to the kitchen. There are big terraces around the pool, with lovely views. The property is fenced and gated for privacy and security. Interaction with guests
We are on hand 24/7 and can be visited at our local office (established 1984) during the mornings. We have lived in Jávea over 40 years so know the area better than most. At the villa we provide a comprehensive 'villa book' giving lots of local information should you choose to be more independent.

Javea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Javea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful...
