Town: Llanfyllin is a lovely town nestled deep in the scenic Cain Valley, surrounded by rolling hills and the Berwyn Mountains. There is a decent selection of stores where you can get all of your necessities, and Y Dolydd, an early 19th-century workhouse that was once featured on the BBC Restoration show. It is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with great architectural variety and outdoor activities, such as walking and cycling across the Berwyn Mountains.
there is NO access to heating the owner controls when they allow you to be warm,spent the 3 nights freezing,heating on a timer came on for 3 hours a night but switched on and off every 10 mins so didnt heat the radiators up,we actually got about an hour of heat,it was 4 degrees in the morning,had to put coats and hats on.the boiler is locked away under the stairs near the bedrooms,it smelt very strongly and gave us sore eyes,coughs and a bad chest.all radiators had been switched off and a few of them didnt seem to be working at all.flies and maggots in the lining of the sky lights,had to open them as property was damp and stale,100's of flies flew into room.couldnt sleep in main bedroom as freezing due to huge gap under door to outside,had to sleep in bunk bed that hadnt been made up.complained at the property but the owner told the letting company we hadnt.
