Perfect place to relax
Spent an amazing weekend here as four adults and two children. Adults and children both loved the home and the surrounding property. The kids loved feeding the chickens, exploring the paddocks and mooing at the cows! The adults loved how close you are to the vineyards.. Only 15mins! Loved the comfy couches, the cooks kitchen, the heating and beautiful wood burning fire. The personal touches from our hosts made the stay so much more special! A welcome note, a fresh baked loaf of the yummiest bread, beautiful bottle of wine and vouchers for some local wineries. The bedrooms were massive, with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Cannot recommend Goosewing homestead enough! Will definitely be back in summer.

How to get there
Once you reach Wollombi Road, coming from either Cessnock or Wollombi, turn onto Kendall Street (on the corner in Bellbird is a park dedicated to the Bellbird Mining Disaster). There you will find a sign that points to the Vineyards. Follow this road up the hill (this road will become Bimbadeen Road and then Mount View Road) for 4.3 km until you reach the sharp left hairpin turn to Bimbadeen lookout (uphill all the way). At the next turnoff make sure to stay on Mount View Road and then follow it for a further 3km. Once you reach Kings Bridge, Goosewing Cottage is the next property on your right at the top of the hill.
