Amazing condo with great views, privacy and minutes from RMNP and Estes Park
This condo felt like we had our own slice of RMNP with an amazing view of Long'sPeak in our backyard and living room, with the gorgeous river winding around the property 10 yards from our deck. Beautiful hummingbirds joined us daily out on the deck. The condo was outfitted with all the amenities we needed from King size beds, full kitchen, washer/dryer, large quality TV and decorated with very cool mountain centric eclectic pieces throughout the home along with stunning photography of local scenery and wildlife. So close to the to RMNP for inspiring visits for hiking, exploring and driving along Trail Ridge road. Also, very close to town for dining, shopping and river walking and only a few minutes further to Lake Estes for enjoying the surrounding mountain ranges from the water on a chill pontoon boat ride with eagles circling above. The owner Holly was easy to contact and answered all questions quickly and was a pleasure to interact with. She also had an extensive welcome booklet with all types of recommendations for park activities, shopping & dining, local activities and excursions, and any possible other emergency info and phone numbers if needed, Top Notch !!! We would certainly highly recommend staying at Estes on the River !!

Perfect Condo for Estes Park!
We just stayed at Estes on the River and the condo exceeded our expectations! The condo was very clean, well kept, up to date and spacious. There are 3 bedrooms each with a king bed, two of those rooms have a beautiful view of Big Thompson River in the backyard. The location of the condo to downtown Estes Park and RMNP was only a few minutes drive, very close! The neighborhood was quiet and also very well kept. Holly was a fantastic host, when I booked things were just starting to open up due to COVID, Holly was very helpful in relaying information about how we would need to get tickets for RMNP. Because of her information, we were able to get tickets for each day we were there! She was quick to respond as well! We would recommend her condo to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Estes Park! We’ll be back for sure!

Highly Recommended
This is our 3rd time to stay here and we plan on booking again. Fantastic location 5 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park and 5 minutes from Estes Park on the Big Thompson river with a view of Long’s Peak and the Keyhole of Long’s Peak through the picture window in the den. The accommodations are top notch and we feel like we’re home when we’re there.

Estes on the River an unforgettable piece of paradise to spend a fabulous vacation
Great location. Close to RMNP Beaver Creek entrance, YMCA, and Downtown Estes Park. The Cabin/Condo was warm, and cozy, with amazing views. Thank you for the Longs Peak coffee. What a great way to start the morning on the deck. We took so many photo. The evening we checked in, there was a huge Bull Elk next unit down. The kids were in awe. So much to do there for adults and kids. Most of our days were hiking in RMNP. However the kids used the YMCA for many activities. A few things are a must!!! Take a jeep ride on The Wild Side. Top of the World tour up to the Alpine. My second time. Worth every penny. The kids went on a raft trip out of Rapid Transit Rafting. Had a great time. We took 2 hour horseback riding trip with Sombrero Ranched which included dinner. Food was not great, but the ride well worth it. The kids did some Fly Fishing and had a great time. And our oldest who is very adventurous and brave had a guide and hiked to Andrews Glacier. This trip was planned for our older grandsons as a graduation present. My husband wanted them to experience the Rockies. Unfortunately for my husband he was unable to join us due to a sudden health issue, but we talked and sent him pictures daily. If you are looking for a great beautiful place to stay, choose Estes on the River. You will not be disappointed. The owner easy to work with.Thank you Holly for sharing your home. I would love to do it again when my husband recovers.

Perfect family getaway
Estes on the River was the perfect mountain getaway! Beautiful scenery and the elk were plentiful. We enjoyed Thompson River running behind the condo while it lulled us to sleep nightly. Close to everything you’d possibly need for a Rocky Mountain retreat in the fall! We will definitely be trying to get back very soon.

Amazing river front condo
My family and I were impressed when we opened the front door of this beautifully furnished, equipped, and maintained condo on the river! It is just minutes from shopping, restaurants, the YMCA facilities, and Rocky Mtn. National Park! The beauty of this condo's location is its natural privacy and feeling that you're really away from the hustle and bustle. The sound of the river is SO relaxing. I was impressed with the owners' binder which included places to hike, fish, explore, shop, and eat. A few minutes reading through this binder and previous vistitors' experiences in the guest book on the porch the first afternoon allowed my family to thoroughy experience Estes Park! We plan to stay here again!

The perfect place . . .
to stay in Estes Park. Incredible setting next to the river, daily closeup sightings of deer, elk and hummingbirds, beautifully appointed and spacious. Close to everything we wanted to see and do, but quiet and private.

Perfect vacation!
We took a family vacation to Estes Park and could not be more thrilled with our condo rental! The pictures truly do not do justice to the home or the location! Deer and elk visited the river directly behind the condo on a daily basis. The view of the river and snow capped mountains made it hard to leave and explore the area! We fell asleep each night listening to the river after star gazing off the back porch. The condo itself was super cute, clean, and had plenty of space for my husband, myself and our three grown children. We especially loved the back porch, fireplace, and spacious kitchen. It is close to everything! You know it is a great time when the tv is never turned on! We want to return one day soon!

Estes on the River......Amazing!
What a fabulous place to stay while in Estes Park. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. This condo was perfect for my family of 5 and the views were beautiful beyond belief. The bedrooms were spacious and each had a king size bed that was comfortable. The kitchen was clean, updated, with all the appliances that we needed to cook with. We loved the loft space and accessibility to games. Wifi worked perfectly and we were even able to bring our Amazon Firestick to use with the TV to watch movies/Netflix. This condo was easy to find and in the perfect location. Rocky Mountain National Park was so close, great restaurants were nearby and the drive into town was a short 5 minute jaunt. We often times saw elk on our drive to and from the condo. We loved Estes on the River and are planning a trip back soon!

About the neighbourhood
Rocky Mountain National Park is one of America’s true natural gems. The Park allows people of all abilities to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. RMNP offers over 80 hikes that vary from flat hikes around a lake to steep trails that open on to 360 degree views. Many of these hikes are also great for snowshoeing in the winter. In the Park, you can take scenic drives and stunning bike rides as well as go rock climbing, fishing, or horseback riding. RMNP is home to many animals including elk, deer, black bears, bobcats, moose, marmots, big horn sheep, badgers, as well as many others. Be sure to keep a look out because you never know what critter is around the next bend when you venture into the park. A quaint mountain town of about 6,000, Estes Park is best known as the site of the infamous Stanley Hotel featured in “The Shining”. While the hotel is certainly worth a visit, Estes Park truly has something for everyone. You can shop for handmade jewelry or crafts, visit art galleries, or browse through the bookstore. Estes Park has three spa’s, several yoga studios, and a gym so you can ease your soul and body after a long day of hiking. There’s a bowling alley, many museums, 2 movie theaters, a ropes course, and even mini golf! You can listen to live bluegrass or folk and sip on a locally brewed beer at one of our local venues. Rent mountain bikes, ATV’s, snowshoes or even ice climbing equipment. Ride horses along forest trails or raft a river. There are plenty of adventures to chose from!
