Stay in the center of downtown Luray overlooking the Hawksbill Creek on the two mile Greenway walking/garden trail. Centrally located to the Shenandoah River, National Park, Caverns, Brewery, Wine Bar and restaurants. The best Luray has to offer. Our second floor apartment is newly renovated with all modern conveniences: central AC, heat & gigabit WiFi. We are family friendly and love dogs. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, comfortable stay with access to a multitude of fun activities. This is our beloved apartment, and we've worked incredibly hard to make it warm, clean, cozy, comfortable and modern while retaining everything we love about the charm and age of Luray's beautiful old buildings. We don't love a long list of rules, but we have to have them anyway just in case there is the rare instance that someone decides to engage in Bad Things: 1. NO SMOKING or FIRE OF ANY SORT INSIDE. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your butts in the trash. Also, smoking causes cancer. Just sayin'. 2. SHOES. Please remove your shoes inside on the carpeted entrance (that's why it's there). After hiking, swimming etc, shoes are often wet and muddy, and plus it's just more comfortable to be in your socks or slippers. 3. DOORS & WINDOWS. Please make sure the doors and windows are locked when you leave the house. Electronic locks make that super simple, just press the lock button. Since we have central AC & Heat for you to enjoy a comfortable temperature, please don't keep the doors and windows open. 4. MUSIC. No loud music. Even though our nearest neighbors are also on Main St and used to some car noise, they will call the law if they hear you blaring music. 5. NO PARTIES. No more then 8 people max are allowed in the apartement at any time unless prior arrangements have been made with us, and written consent is given. 6. FOOD - Lots of cooking stuff is located in the kitchen. Please help yourself to useful spices, oil etc. IF you found you used large amounts of things please replace them. Pay it forward, and all that. 7. FOOD CONSUMPTION. We ask that people try to eat in the kitchen/dining room. This has mainly to do with people with children. We love kids, but they tend to get messy. Please don't let the kids eat in the bedrooms. Thanks! 8. BOOKS MAGAZINES. Please enjoy the reading material, but leave them for the next guest. 9. PETS. We allow pets on a case by case basis. Please contact us to discuss. 10. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – Linens and bath towels (plus extras) are included, daily maid service is not included. If you book a long stay, we're happy to arrange to bring clean towels. 11. STEALING. We are the cleaning service and we take inventory of everything in the apartment after each guest leaves. If you are caught stealing anything whatsoever, you lose your full deposit. 12. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. This includes false or misleading statements about the age and/or number of guests who will be staying at the property. 14. TRASH – We take the trash and recycling to the transfer station every week. If the trash is piling up because you are here for an extended stay, please let us know.More
