We stayed at Bright Skies for 7 weeks and found it very relaxing. If you don't want to drive the the public transport is very good with buses into Joondalup & Whitfords close by.

About the neighbourhood
The suburb is a green leafy one by Perth standards, with houses arranged all the way around a central lush golf course. The golf course includes a hotel, restaurant, English-style pub and a terraced area overlooking the greens for drinks and meals too. The pub is the “Kangaroo Arms”, well named after the kangaroos that live on the golf course and may be seen when taking an evening walk. There is a group of shops a minute’s drive / ten minutes’ walk away. The supermarket, Joe’s Grocer, is upmarket with a coffee shop at its entry. It has a delicatessen counter and also sells the staples such as bread and milk. The shops also include a bakery, pharmacy hairdresser, bottle store, Chinese restaurant, pizza shop and fish and chip shop.
How to get there
By road: Easily accessible via Hodges Drive off the Mitchell Freeway, which links to city and also to the Reid Highway which goes to the airport. By train: The Joondalup Station is only 3km (two bus stops away) from Bright Skies. This station is on the Joondalup Line, (olive green coding) and goes directly to/from the city centre. From the station, Bright Skies is towards the ocean in the west and the sunset - so you can literally ride off into the sunset! :)
