With our holiday homes 40 meters apart, Monte Horizonte is a very safe place to go on vacation. On our 20-hectare property, you can move freely and have privacy, silence and peace. Also enjoy nature and the stars, the sun and the empty beaches, delicious and cheap food and drinks, security and a perfect climate. The electricity supply is entirely solar and wind power. Wi-Fi is available in public areas 24/24. Five minutes outside the historic city of Santiago do Cacém in the Alentejo, in a domain of twenty hectares, you will find the small eco-friendly complex Monte Horizonte. Monte Horizonte has six holiday homes, each with its own terrace and a beautiful view. Casa Mimosa T1 is a detached villa with a living room, 1 bedroom, a kitchen with gas stove and refrigerator. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. It has a satellite TV system with access to free channels such as CNN, etc. The bed room has a double bed with bed linen. Bed linen is changed once a week and towels twice a week. On the porch there are chairs and a table for you to relax. Conditions: Children under 7 years old are not allowed. Children aged 7 and over are considered adults. Check-in: from 16:00 to 20:00. In june i stayed for almost two weeks at Monte Horizonte, casa Mimosa. It was a beautiful vacationhouse in the middle of nature. I saw a lot of birds in de surrounding. Several birds you don"t see in Holland. The beach is very close to Monte Horizonte. It is a very clean beach en not to busy. It is also possible to book birdtrips at Monte Horizonte. I had two trips en saw a lot of birds. Some of them are very rare in Europe. You drive to Santiago do Cacem in about five minutes. Santiago has several good restaurants. The local people eat there too. It was a wonderful stay en I'm sure i come back.

Dommage que le chemin pour y arriver soit aussi chaotique. On y dort bien, le calme est au rendez vous. Un aménagement près de la réception serait appréciė pour la wifi. Bert et Marian ont été très accueillant.

Acolhimento excelente por parte dos proprietarios Marianne, Eline e Bert. Casa oliveira super tranquila com muita privacidade. Optima piscina em ambiente calmo e sereno, no meio da planicie mas ao mesmo tempo acolhedora. Optimo para caminhadas nas areas envolventes E para quem ama a natureza optimo para ver animais a circular nas redondezas.. Recomendo

How to get there
How to get to us: Most GPS systems lose their way in the last kilometer. Please read the following directions: Directions: From Santiago do Cacém take the N120 heading south to Cercal do Alentejo. After the junction of Aldeia dos Chãos (do not turn to the village but continue on the road) at about 1.9 km. there is a sign with Monte Horizonte on it. Turn left down and follow the Monte Horizonte and telephone lines signs and after 1 km. are at Monte Horizonte. The reception is the first house you will see.
