A new one bedroom self contained annexe with open plan kitchen/lounge/diner with modern Skandi style furnishings. Upstairs features a wardrobe, drawers , a double bed with Egyptian Cotton sheets, feather duvet and pillows (non allergic pillows also available). The bathroom has a bath and walk in shower. TV downstairs with Virgin Media (includes Sky Sports and BT Sports Channels) as well as a TV with terrestrial channels upstairs. Palm House is approximately 5 minutes walk from Alverstoke Village where there is the Village Home . Pub, post office, convenience store, coffee shop and The Old Lodge Bar and Restaurant located close to the quiet surroundings of St Mary's Church. Located 10 mins walk from Stokes Bay Beach where you will find Pebbles Fish and Wine Bar,Pebbles Beach Cafe and the Bayside Diner. There are fantastic views of the Isle of Wight, tennis courts, crazy golf and of course The Solent for swimming! Nearby there is the Stokes Bay Pay and Play Golf Club, the Stokes Bay sailing Club and Haslar Marina. Ideally placed for exploring historic Portsmouth Dockyard - HMS Warrior, HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and the surrounding area of Southsea.
Getting around
The bus route into Gosport town centre and Fareham is located nearby. From Gosport hop on the ferry to Portsmouth where direct trains to London, Brighton, Southampton or further afield are located. The Wightlink passenger ferry to the Isle of Wight, a 20 minute journey is also found within Portsmouth train station.
