The Honeysuckle Residence is a Manor type house that is great in every sense of the word. The house is built as if they were 2 separate appartments and both floors have a seperate entrance and each have a kitchen and a kitchenette. The owners however have decided they wanted to only rent it out as one house. The house is a great house for large group of friends or for 2 families that want to have a holiday together but each long for their own space and some privacy. Honeysuckle Residence is divided into 2 floors: First floor; Here is the main entrance that leads to the ground floor house and the seperate entrance that leads to the first floor. Honeysuckle Residence is divided into 2 floors: First floor; Here is the main entrance that leads to the ground floor house and the seperate entrance that leads to the first floor. Coming into the ground floor, one steps back in time a few hundred years but for a few small reminders of the present. There are 2 great arches that lead to the seating/lounging area where 6-8 people can sit comfortably. The walls are all painted with the famous lime stone paint that make the Greek houses so typically chalky looking. There is a small kitchenette that has some simple things like a coffee maker and some plates etc. It's not a fully equiped kitchen, as that is the case with the upstairs kitchen. It is simply there for a breakfast and coffee and tea break. There is a fridge and a small cooker and oven. From the kitchen, one enters onto the courtyard and outside dining area, where the Honeysuckle Plant spreads it's lovely odeurs along the space and another plant or 2 make the whole courtyard look green and happy. At the courtyard there are 2 doors, one leading to the bathroom with shower and toilet, and the other one with a small bedroom with a double bed. In the hallway of the ground floor, there is the original stairs leading to the first floor where an open plan half outside, fully covered terrace is part of the dining area that is connected to the kitchen, which is a separate room and where just a few people can eat as well. From that half open area one can enter the 2 big bedrooms and the bathroom with bath tub, as well as climb the stairs going up to the 2 roof terraces, with it's sun loungers, fatboys, and big original couch. So on Airbnb where Airme booked, we got a 5 star review, and because I didn't leave her a 5 star review, she looked for another way to leave a bad review because she couldn't do it anymore on the previous website. So it it...More

About the neighbourhood
The Street where the Honeysuckle Residence is located is near by the Koskinou gate and the Sanfrancisco Church. The street itself is very quiet and peaceful, no cars are allowed in, so you will only hear an occasional motorbike running through the streets, speed can never be high on those cobbled streets. The Honesuckle Residence is in a residencial area with just a few shops around the corner. But around 2 corners one can purchase breads and other small shoppings. The Sandy beach is a 10 minutes walk away and the shopping streets as well. There are numerous great restaurants in the area and the old town, and you could live a live here without hardly ever needing to leave the old town. In the season time, cars are not allowed to enter with one exception: from 6-9 am, you can drive in w...
