'Tremezzina' (a union of the towns Colonno, Ossuccio, Lenno, Tremezzo und Griante) extends over the west shore of the lake Como, directly opposite from Bellagio. The climate is very mild and the vegetation lush. Since the Roman times this small piece of Italy has been known for its 'eternal spring'. The tranquil gardens, the olive- and myrtle trees surrounding noble residences and the many picturesque towns along the lake, serve as the frame for romantic lake Como.
