It's a perfect place to enjoy all the amenities in the town centre like bars, restaurants and shops while being close to nature and the sea bathing area, located just a couple of minutes away. Due to its special microclimatic characteristic, Veli Lošinj is for a long time recognised medical retreat to cure pulmonary disease. For nature enthusiasts, the main settlement, Mali Lošinj, with the stunning Čikat Bay and Aquapark, Museum of Apoxyomenos and less than 10 10-minute drive or 45-minute walk away. The nearest international: Rijeka and Pula airports are closest. Also, a convenient connection with Zadar airport is possible by fast boat during the summer season. The island has its own airport but only for private and taxi planes.
