Our beautiful duplex apartment with roof terrace and two bedrooms is located on the second floor (attic) of the small apartment complex Am AHOI-Bad in a central location of Cuxhaven-Duhnen. The beautiful sandy beach and the beach promenade and the adventure AHOI with Thalasso center can be reached in about 3 minutes. To the center of Duhnen with restaurants and shops is only about 200 meters. Our lovingly furnished apartment can accommodate 4 people. The light-filled living / dining area with access to the east-facing roof terrace forms the heart of the apartment. In the cozy sitting area is a Smart TV of the latest generation. Of course, Wi-Fi is available with free use. We rebuilt the kitchen-living area in February 2019 and refitted it. A space-saving staircase leads to the second bedroom in the loft. From April to October inclusive to every reservation (without minimum occupancy) a beach chair directly on the beach without surcharge. With a minimum booking of 5 nights, there is also a free voucher for a day ticket, valid for 2 adults, for free use of the bath and sauna area in the Thalassozentrum ahoi!More
The apartment is very well suited for children, but infants up to about 5 years should be better accommodated in the lower sleeping area. The sleeping place for children is located in the loft of the duplex apartment and can be reached via a space-saving staircase, which is less suitable for toddlers. In the loft there are children's books and games as well as a small TV.
Duhnen (of dunes) is a health resort on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony and belongs to the urban area Cuxhaven. Our apartment Am Ahoibad is ideally located in Duhnen. In the immediate vicinity you will find various shops, beautiful boutiques, supermarkets, banks, doctors and pharmacies. Restaurants, cafes and cozy bars invite you to linger. The dike, the beautiful sandy beach and the beach promenade and the water park "AHOI" with Thalasso center can be reached in about 3 minutes. Walks on the dike, a walk through the mudflats or a Wattwagenfahrt to the island of Neuwerk you have a wonderful view of the world shipping route.
Getting around
In the summer season from April to October you can easily cover longer distances with the Jan Cux beach train along the Wadden Sea and the world shipping route. The beach train runs every 2 hours between the "Old Love", investors and viewing platform directly on the Elbe water, about 6 km away, and the Duhner nudist beach. The stops are located directly on the Duhner beach promenade. Of course you can also from the stop at the Thalasso Center (diagonally opposite the apartment) with the bus to Cuxhaven and the port.
