There is also a spectacular roof-top The village of Vico Pancellorum is situated in the stunning Vale di Lina in the Apennines, within easy walking distance down into the village, and forty minutes from the Abatone ski-fields and resort. Bagni di Lucca is 20 mins away for all your provisions, many restaurants and local services. Since the first century BC, Bagni di Lucca has been widely known for the beneficial effects of its thermal water, ideal for the care and nourishment of the skin and the relaxation and purification of the body. The Thermal Spa is famous for its steam baths housed within two natural caves and the Wellbeing Centre offering mud baths, massages and other treatments to nourish & revitalise the mind & body. Ristorante Buca di Baldabo in Vico Pancellorum is a favourite with locals and unsuspecting visitors. The food is traditional and sensational, in true Italian style, it is the food, the staff and friends that are all important for a great night out. We shared a platter of tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, followed by a sharedplatter of Ravioli filled with sweet pumpkin, followed by Boar Antiqua (boar ribs cooked in the old method). Then we managed to back up for fig and walnut tart, tiramisu or apple tart with custard. All absolutely delicious.
