At Whitsand Bay, a detached, cliffside chalet on one level with stunning 'ships ahoy!' views from Rame Head to Looe. The position is breath-taking and perfect for the beach-lover and surfer. It sleeps 4 in two bedrooms a king-size double and a zip-linked king-size. It is fresh, light and contemporary with an open plan living/dining room and kitchen area with panoramic sea views, and a family bathroom. To the side of the chalet there is a grassed area on two levels with picnic table (small children beware) for enjoying those al fresco meals or sundowners, and at the back there is a shed with an additional toilet. Note: This property is accessed via 100 yards of steep cliff footpath, ending in 24 steps, leading from the road. Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations. Town: Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.
