The house has been beautifully and sympathetically restored and retains its rustic charm. It is well equipped with two terraces with wonderful views over the village, the mountains in the background and the sea. We are within eight minutes’ drive of the beach to which a regular bus service operates. The village has a really lovely square 2 minutes’ walk from the house with a range of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy al fresco dining throughout the year. There is also a great all- year round climate controlled swimming pool only 7 minutes’ walk from the house.

TORROX with its narrow medieval streets, whitewashed houses nestled into the hillside, old ladies sitting in wooden chairs gossiping and children playing in the streets - this is the lovely traditional Spanish village where you stay and enjoy the best climate in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine each year. You can buy your vegetables and fruit in season from the local peoples' doorsteps straight from the campo. Getting around
There is a good bus service down to the beach direct from the village. Taxis are available late at night from the Costa to the village. It is also a lovely walk down by the Rio Torrox to the beach.

Buses go from the village to Malaga where there is a train station which takes you to major cities all over Spain. It is possible to visit Torrox without a car but if you wish to explore the surrounding national parks and other areas of interest, it is useful to have a car.

The house is situated very close to the main square in the village. The village is a 45 minute drive from Malaga airport. There is also a very frequent bus service from Malaga train station (which is easily accessible from the airport). There is no parking outside the house but there are several free municipal car parks nearby. It is also possible to park for a short while at the bottom of the street in order to bring suitcases up to the house. More information and directions are available on request.
